Summary: I have several Panasonic products: TV, Home Theater, DVD Player, Camcorder. This is the first time I have had to contact their customer service. I was trying to view the pictures that were on my IPhone 4. I was informed during my second call to them that the unit was designed to operate with the original IPhone 4, but if you have updated the phone software then they could not guarantee compatibility!!!
Summary: I'll start off by saying the YES, "for the money" this is a good unit, it has a lot of features. My only complaint is the ARC (Audio Return Channel) volume. But, for me this is a big complaint because this is the only reason I bought it. For some reason the volume through the ARC is much lower than when playing something that is directly sourced on the unit, i.e. BlueRay, YouTube, Amazon Prime Videos.
Summary: If you just want surround sound for your DVD viewing pleasure, this will serve you well. If you want it to provide amplified sound for your TV viewing...don't buy this one. What a pain. We've spent hours trying to get this set up so that it will just come on when the power on button is pushed. We bought the whole Panasonic package just so it would mesh together seamlessly and would be simple for all family members to manage. It's not.
Summary: This is a good product for the price. The sound qualty is acceptable, but not great. The most aggravating thing is the necessary adapter you have to purchase to get Netfilx. Even when you get the product add-on it still won't do a Netflix search. I have to enter any movies I'm interested in viewing into the instant quere before this system will bring them up.
Summary: Bought this for my parents last Christmas and overall it is a good system for the price. Nice sound and look. Unfortunately, the remote is not good. Further, I tried hooking it up with a Logitech Harmony One remote and, because of some oddities with this system, that doesn't quite work right either. The end result is that my parents consistently struggle with this system, much to my dismay.
Good for the price, but beware of mini-plug and streaming issues

Summary: Great sound for the price. Not sure how the sound compares to more expensive systems today, but much better than a $550 JVC we bought a few years ago. Woofer isn't terrific, but I don't like being traumatized by my sound experiences anyway. Small, easy to place and move speakers--easy to hide from our dogs. My main concern with the unit is that I thought it would be a lot more flexible than it is.
Summary: This is a good budget option for Blu-Ray and surround sound in a small space, or where shelf space or aesthetics preclude the use of separate components. Blu-Ray playback and Netflix streaming both work well, and setup is relatively painless. Where it falls down, though, is in the speakers. The tiny speakers provide clear dialog, and movie surround sound works well.
Summary: Very simple to set up but interface between satellite and tv need a smoother flow. Need additional optical cable to hear satellite tv. HDMI is only one way. I have a panas. viera tv and using the link is pretty pointless. It still takes 3 remotes(satellite, tv, and theater) to accomplish ideal settings for each input capability.
