Summary: I have several Panasonic products: TV, Home Theater, DVD Player, Camcorder. This is the first time I have had to contact their customer service. I was trying to view the pictures that were on my IPhone 4. I was informed during my second call to them that the unit was designed to operate with the original IPhone 4, but if you have updated the phone software then they could not guarantee compatibility!!!
Summary: If you just want surround sound for your DVD viewing pleasure, this will serve you well. If you want it to provide amplified sound for your TV viewing...don't buy this one. What a pain. We've spent hours trying to get this set up so that it will just come on when the power on button is pushed. We bought the whole Panasonic package just so it would mesh together seamlessly and would be simple for all family members to manage. It's not.
Summary: This is a good product for the price. The sound qualty is acceptable, but not great. The most aggravating thing is the necessary adapter you have to purchase to get Netfilx. Even when you get the product add-on it still won't do a Netflix search. I have to enter any movies I'm interested in viewing into the instant quere before this system will bring them up.
Good for the price, but beware of mini-plug and streaming issues

Summary: Great sound for the price. Not sure how the sound compares to more expensive systems today, but much better than a $550 JVC we bought a few years ago. Woofer isn't terrific, but I don't like being traumatized by my sound experiences anyway. Small, easy to place and move speakers--easy to hide from our dogs. My main concern with the unit is that I thought it would be a lot more flexible than it is.
Summary: This is a good budget option for Blu-Ray and surround sound in a small space, or where shelf space or aesthetics preclude the use of separate components. Blu-Ray playback and Netflix streaming both work well, and setup is relatively painless. Where it falls down, though, is in the speakers. The tiny speakers provide clear dialog, and movie surround sound works well.
Summary: A good cheap entry into home cinema systems that in a small room will not disappoint however could do with an active subwoofer to really push it to the limit. That said though the iPod/iphone dock makes for a great feature and the music from the iPod/iphone sounds impressive for what it is Pretty cheap to buy and worth looking out for as the picture and sound are very good quality even if not the best in the all in one solution market
Summary: Not too pleased with this machine,it cuts all my own recorded discs down to near 4.3 and the only cure I can find is a Zoom function, but this makes the picture out of shape, and lose any words along the bottom of screen,my Sony played all these at 16.9 but is not Blu-Ray.Panasonics help is totally useless they do not respond to e mails, and if it wasnt for the fact that Id cut one the speaker cables to pass through the back of TV unit I would have returned it.
Summary: A good piece of equipment if you have a Panasonic TV, when the TV remote controls the sound and on/off with the tv. Not comparable to a high end surround sound system, but much better that TV sound and (small speakers) good for fitting into smaller rooms. Only downside is that, when using Sky HD as a source, sound moves out of synch over a period, and only cure is to switch unit off and on again then synch is restored. This may be a fault with mine - not sure.
Summary: I was really pleased when I bought this product and couldn't wait to get it installed. 6 months in, I now wish I had gone for the Sony. The Blu-ray and DVD play back is excellent. My main dissapointments are as follows. No Headphone socket. What a let down. If I want to hear music/watch a DVD late at night, you have to have the sound on. Alternatively, direct the sound to the TV and use the phone socket on the TV.
