Summary: I purchased the SCBT100 unit a couple of years ago...pretty much the same as the 200. I recently wanted to add a good pair of wireless headphones to my system and when I tried to connect to the SCBT100, I discovered that there is NO AUDIO OUTPUT from the unit (except for the none standard speakers)...

Summary: sirs i received my sc bt200 7.1 home dvd player and it did not have speakers with it soooo i got a sweet deal on it i had a set of speakers too use on it and now i am using it on all my movies it works great. thanks thanks good product. learoycecil
Summary: Had this unit since December 2009. A bit of a pain to setup, due to relatively confusing menus and options. Picture and sounds are not bad actually, but it took a bit of tuning to get it so. The room is about 20ft x 25 ft, 16 ft cathedral ceiling, with the speakers mounted about 8 ft high.
Specs misleading -- it's a 375W amp, sub is mediocre

Summary: The specs are marketing BS. From the manual: Amp 1000W into 3 Ohms, Satellite loudspeakers 100Hz-25KHz -16 db, Subwoofer 40Hz-200Hz -16 db. Amps are rated at W into 8 Ohms, not 3. Loudspeakers are rated at range +-3 db.
Summary: It is a great low cost system for watching blue ray movies or getting better sound from your tv. It is limited in input options and some features are aimed at the panasonic family of products (verri link). The iPod dock is a neat addition for those with iPods.
