This is the third HTIB system I've owned and easily the best one yet. Given the cost of standalone Blu-ray players, this combo unit is an excellent value. There is no ability to switch video sources but this is not my primary home theatre and a PVR is my only other source so using the TV to switch inputs is not a big deal for us but one HDMI input would have made it perfect. However, my wife is even pleasantly surprised with how easily she's picked it up. Read more

It's a bare bones 7.1 system with Bluray. Video and audio are as good as it gets for a HTIB system. Really amazing for what you get at this price range. Took only a few minutes to set up. The system support wireless rear speakers but you have to buy an additional transceiver for [$]and it's only for the 2 far rear speakers. Read more

Pro's: Great value; easy setup. Audio and video quality are superb but for me that's compared to an up-converting DVD player with 5.1 Dolby Digital (no DTS) surround. Looks gorgeous on a 32" Samsung LCD (8000:1 contrast; 720p). Can't wait to hook it up to my HD projector when I move. Con's: Unit starts up slowly (20-30sec) and reads discs slowly (about another 20-30sec) so it could be up to a minute before getting to a disc menu to start playback. At least two films that... works amazing for the price. You cannot buy a better product without spending over twice the amount. My wife was very hesitant to purchase, but she loves the system. She is very glad we bought it. It makes you feel like you are at the movies. The vierra link even works with my Toshiba TV so I can control the sound with the tv remote. I love it. Read more

I love my new blu ray home system! Vanns is introduced me to a new online shopping exsperience! I been looking for a new home system to go with my new 1080p hdtv! I found the Panasonic SC-BT200 the perfect match for any new hd 1080p tv. Its user friendly to use easy walk through to set up. For the price its easly the best value for the price, you cant find any 7.1 blu ray home system with the true sound like true hd or dts master hd! i strongly suggest anyone to get it!...
