The specs are marketing BS. From the manual: Amp 1000W into 3 Ohms, Satellite loudspeakers 100Hz-25KHz -16 db, Subwoofer 40Hz-200Hz -16 db. Amps are rated at W into 8 Ohms, not 3. Loudspeakers are rated at range +-3 db. If advertised apples-to-apples, this would be sold as a 375W amplifier with 160Hz-20KHz -3 db speakers and a 60Hz-160Hz subwoofer. THOSE specs are about right for a $500 7.1 system. Read more

It's a bare bones 7.1 system with Bluray. Video and audio are as good as it gets for a HTIB system. Really amazing for what you get at this price range. Took only a few minutes to set up. The system support wireless rear speakers but you have to buy an additional transceiver for [$]and it's only for the 2 far rear speakers. Read more
I bought this with my tv (Panasonic S1 42") and they work great together in my bedroom. I managed to get a discount for buying together so I was able to get the BT200 for $300, which I thought was a great deal. Read more

just got brand new panasonic sc-bt200 hooked up...works great then screen will go black for a bit then return to the picture...the sound continues to play the entire time though. how can i fix this? is it hooked up wrong?

Hi, got a samsung LE40A786 and need a home cinema system to get the full force out of that beauty. Ideally with a blu ray player and looking for the best system out there up to a max spend of £500 - though happy to pay less if quality the same.
