Summary: This is a very good system spoilt by the fact that although i was assured when I bought it that speakers to upgrade to 5.1 were available (just out of stock at that moment) the speakers do not appear to be available anywhere. I have had the system for over a year am happy with it but want 5.1 - searched worldwide - no one seems to have the speakers.
Summary: It is a geat piece of equipment with excellent sound. I had to spent more money and buy stands for the speakers, I did not want all four of them on the floor. The rear speaker wireless option disables the internet on the home PC's, probably a dual band router will fix the problem that means additional expense to have things working. The machine need occasional 'rebooting' by unplug-plug because the remote contol volume gets out of control on me.
Summary: i purchaced the sc-bt-100 and i have been trying to upgrade it to a 5.1 and now iam unable to purchace the two extra speakers as i can not find same to purchace as they are not available. tssne speakers i need are sb-hs 100a. can i use other speakers and where can i find them as ii am fed up with this problem. i have the shfx67 to operate the speakers[wirless system].
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor documentation, speakers not available for same
Summary: i have had this product for about 18 months and for x-mas was thinking about asking for the upgrade package to go to 7.1. i have asked around electronic stores and searched panasonics' website. So far all i have found is the wireless receiver; which no store carries and isnt avail from panasonic direct. Even panasonics' web site came up with no match when i tried searching for the speakers using the model number on panasonics' website.
Summary: I have this connected to a Panasonic plasma 46"G10. It works and sounds ok but the volume is not nearly loud enough. The fm antenna is a joke. The remote is a bit too complicated. It was a good value though for the price and integrates well with the tv.
Summary: I got the system while a business in my region was liquidating and I'm glad I did. I've had no issues with what I bought and would gladly suggest it to a friend. Aside from the price tag, it's great. But you do get what you payed for!
Summary: I purchased a TH-50PZ80U Plasma along with this sound system Saturday, February 28th. Both exceeded my expectations by a LONG shot. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. No issues with the wireless rear speakers. The only issue I've had is the Auxiliary input seems rather quiet... The device has to be on Vol. 30 to be comfortably audible, where as on FM it would be quite loud. Overall, I give this system a 25/25 Stars. Absolutely amazing.
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use
Summary: I love this system. It's a little expensive, but other than that I have no problems with it. I have had no problems at all with load time like some others have had. The sound quality is great and the video really brings movies to life to the extent that it seems that you are right in the middle of the scene. The rear speaker wires should have been a little longer though but that can be easily fixed. This system literally fills my basement with sound.
Summary: I have had this system since July '08 and am satisfied with the overall operation and quality of the system. I'm picky on sound quality and find that I have to manually adjust between heavy and clear settings quite often. Also, besides the heavy sound setting there is also a subwoofer boost button and a Subwoofer level adjustment to choose from. This seems excessive. Sound is great overall.
Summary: Not sure why someone was having laptop problems when Blu Ray was on, use our two laptops all the time in same room as system and no problems whatsoever. Ran rear wire speakers through wall and put speaker junction box in back wall so no wires show. Yes load time is slower than I like, but small issue really. Also no problems plugging in either one of our two 80G iPods. Sounds is awesome!
Pros: Exceeded expectations, Convenient, great sound, share remote with multiple systems
Cons: Expensive, Poor documentation, rear speaker set up can take some work
