Summary: As a home theater working with my HD Tivo it's about the same as my previous stand alone surround receiver. As a Blu-ray player, the HD picture & sound are totally awesome!! The DTS-HD sound is to die for. While it's not a BD-Live player, that's OK for me.
Summary: I decided to buy it for what use to be a GOOD name, now they are trying to live off that name and are driving it into the ground. Bought the home theater Oct 17 09. It was a factory "new" refurb. The blue ray/DVD part didn't work from day one, so called Pan.
Summary: sound is great, blu ray player works awesome, there is a lot of stuff you can do with this system if you can hook up via ethernet which I can't. wireless would be nice. The wireless back speakers are very convenient and throw pretty good sound.
Summary: This unit is a great sound upgrade for any TV which you want better sound for. With HDMI inputs and output, it will work with most any modern component. The sound quality produced is great. While not on par with my 7.1 system, it works great for a smaller setup, like a living room or bedroom.
Summary: Nice device , but not that user friendly as others brand. The set up process is kind of a mess, the seller did a good work trying to help but I need to call to a 1-800 SUPPORT(First time in my life).
Summary: One channel blew out on the old stereo we had and we plan to buy a new TV. Surround sound was a good idea but we don't have alot of money. The SC-BT system came up on eBay, it had surround sound, Blu-Ray, AM and FM and could be extended from 5-to 7-channel which sounded neat.
Summary: The picture and sound quality are good- BluRay good. I bought this used and unfortunately the remote doesn't seem to work properly (play, stop, fast forward, etc don't work even with fresh batteries) so I have to use my TV remote for some things and the BT100 remote for volume.
Summary: I like everything, expect sometime if system is on. I can't connect to wireless internet. So I have to off the wireless speaker and connect to wireless internet and then turn-on the wireless speakers. So far it is solve my problem. I knew about this. I paid lowest price for the system.
