The Panasonic SC-BT100 is a home theater system that features a Blu-ray Disc player / AV receiver, a 5.1 channel surround sound speaker system with wireless rear speakers and an integrated iPod dock.

The SC-BT100’s Blu-ray Disc player measures 16.9 x 3.8 x 12.9 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9.1 pounds. The player has a single disc capacity and can read the following disc types: BD-Video (Final Standard Profile), BD-MV (BD-RE Ver 3), BD-MV (BD-R Ver 2), DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, Double Layer DVD+/-R, DVD-RAM, CD, CD-DA and CD-R/RW. It also supports the playback of MP3, AVCHD and JPEG file types. The player also has a Memory Card slot and can playback AVCHD and JPEG files stored on SD cards.

The SC-BR100 features progressive DVD scanning and full HD 1080p resolution as well as up-conversion of standard DVD videos to full 1080p.

The system has built-in decoders for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD Dolby Prologic II X, DTS and DTS HD Master Audio.

The system’s 5.1-channel surround sound speaker set include a subwoofer, two front speakers, a center channel speaker and a pair of wireless rear speakers. The system can be upgraded to a 7.1 channel set by purchasing the optional SH-FX67 wireless speaker kit or SB-HS100A speakers.

Video connectivity options include HDMI, component video and composite video. For audio, the SC-BT100 offers audio line-in (RCA phono x 2), SPDIF input and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
