Summary: This has been the only thing I think I ever gave from amazon 5 stars. It is an amazing product. Everythign works as told. The speakers were actually a little bit bigger than what I thought which by no means is a bad thing.

Summary: System worked for 2 months. Then HDMI-Out stopped working. Send for warranty repair, took them a month to fix it. Got it back and same problem happened after 2 days. Called repair center and they've started blaming my other components, told me that Onkyo has problems with Samsung BluRay players.

Summary: It's tough to find a high quality speaker system that comes together as a package... unless you spend a LOT of money. This inexpensive setup is quite pleasing to the ear. It produces a fair amount of power and distortion is minimal.
Summary: I have owned the 5500 for about one week. I took it out of the box, connected everything and it worked. I then disconnected it all, installed it, ran audyssey and it worked... for half of a movie. The sub died, and will not turn back on. No light no sound, unplugged plugged back in. Tested outlet.
