Summary: It came quickly and in perfect condition. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. I finally settled on this after reading the many glowing reviews here on amazon and elsewhere. The sound is amazing, especially for the price. This system, in my view, out performs many of the $1-3k range systems that I listened to in stores. I'd recommend purchasing some 16 gauge speaker wire as the wires that come with the speakers are a bit on the thin side.
Summary: I am very satisfied with the product. It has excellent sound quality. It has 2 HDMI inputs and one output to interface with game systems, Blue Ray players, DVD players and HDTVs. (It's hard to find a complete sytem that has HDMI inputs.) The automatic audio setup helped to optimize the sound quality. It's an all around great buy. I only wish it came with a 5 disk DVD changer insted of the single disk player.
Summary: i purchased this from amazon and when i received it i said to my wife do she think i can install myself or hire a home theatre speacilits. well i hired the home theatre specialits boy was my wife right. it took 4hrs to install and when it was finished the system was spectactular. sounds better than the movie theatre and decodes all dolby formats with ease. my sister came over for a visit and was amazed by the sound when i played a blu-ray movie on my sony 550 player.
Summary: Overall, this is the best Home Theater System in a Box out there for the price. Pros: * HDMI 1080P Switching * Comes with a HDMI cable * Onkyo 605 Receiver * Multi-source/multi-zone * DVD player 1080p upscaling * 230W 10" subwoofer * IPOD DOCK * Price ($500) Cons: * Runs a little warm * Front, Center and Surround Speakers could be better (they require a lot of power) * Only 2 HDMI inputs http://www.onkyousa.com/model.cfm?
Solid system for the price, but beware of limitations

Summary: As a few other reviewers have noted, this Onkyo home theater in a box is solid overall. But beware of a few things before committing to buy: 1. The system is underpowered. At $600, I have to turn the volume up to 75% of its maximum to watch regular blu ray movies. Anything below that, you'll do better with the tv's speakers. Sure, the sounds great, but it has less power than my $200 computer speaker system, which should tell you something.
Summary: I am using this product for almost 2 months now. I am really happy with this product. I did my thorough research before i bought this thing and now i am very happy with it. I got this system for $499.00. you can never beat this price with any other system when it comes to quality. I hooked up my ps3 and cable dvr box using HDMI.
Summary: Well I dove into a HTIB not feeling terribly comfortable with the quality of speakers that would come with a complete solution. the Onkyo HT-SP908 has been a peasant suprise for a HTIB. Onkyo HT-SP908 7.1 Channel Home Theater System When the huge box arrived, I made sure to inspect things carfully before the UPS guy left. A friend purchased a similar system that arrived a couple days before with gaping holes in the box and crushed speakers inside.
