No audio after just 2 years and 3 months and Onkyo won't honor warranty from Amazon reseller Superior Sales

Summary: No issues with this receiver until last Thursday when I turned on the receiver and received no audio regardless of input. Video switch HDMI pass-through works but zero audio output. Reset unit per tech support recommendation, but still no audio. This (of course) occurred just 3 months out of Onkyo's 2 year warranty.
Excerpt: We installed the HT-S9400THX Home Theater Receiver by Onkyo in our theater and were blown away by the quilty of the sound. We matched this up with the Panasonic PT-AR100U Full HD Projector and feel like we now have a great theater package. Very happy with this unit. Depending on the movie you will have sound coming from all directions.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote, Thundering Bass
Excerpt: I know, I know -- this cannot compete with a $5k+ system where each component is given careful thought. But it is not meant to, either.

This system, out of the box, is about as good of a Home Theater system I have had the pleasure of experiencing. If you are looking for an affordable way to acquire that in-home, small-room, theater feeling -- you can't go wrong with the Onkyo S9400.

Sound is crisp and detailed. The spectrum is broad and balanced.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls, Thundering Bass
Summary: When getting ready to purchase a 7.1 surround system read more than a few disparaging reviews about this system. But went with what it offered in so much as THX certified sound, along with the speaker package included and power. I can happily report the system sounds better than advertised, setup using the provided sound analyzer and microphone was a breeze.
Summary: I loved this home theater package until recently when the HDMI OUT port appears to have died just 6 months after purchase. I did not think that I would need to go through the hassle of getting something fixed on it so soon (and face the ire of my kids until this gets done)! I have yet to get in touch with Onkyo to find out what they are going to do about it since it is under warranty.
