Summary: The Onkyo HT-S5200 is a full-featured home theater system. The 7.1 channels are an obvious selling point but the thing that I liked most was the automatic equalizer feature - plug in a provided microphone and place it in the three locations in your space that people are most likely to sit and let it...
Summary: I purchased this just over two years ago and today it stopped outputting video (1 month after the warranty expired). I took it apart and wiggled a capacitor, and now I get a green fuzzy screen. I tried factory resetting it, etc, but nothing worked. I will not buy an Onkyo product again.
Summary: As many other reviewers on this site, as well as on other sites, will attest, this receiver is not worth your money. I have had this product for not yet two years and it has stopped working. I have tested all of my other components and cables by connecting directly from the component to the TV.
Summary: I conected this Home Theater to my 46" TV, PS3 and my Ipod and the sync is very well, the only concern about this Home Theater is about when you plug your PS3 to the Brain, some games looks in slow motion, I'm trying to figure it out, if is a home theater issue or my PS3 is going to dead
Summary: I did a lot of research and you can't find a better system for the money. The newer model is having serious issues with the bass, but this model has been excellent. Would recommend this to my friends and enemies...
Only 3 cabels to hook up for tv cabel and x-box sweeet!!!
6 March 2013
Summary: Sounds great! Lot to hook up but well worth the money. There is nothing negative i can say about it. Easy instructions make sure you have two people to carry it in the house it is really heavy.
Summary: I don't know how Onkyo does it but they pack an incredible system together here for a very low price. This is my second HTIB from Onkyo and I love it. The sound is great. The subwoofer really pushes out the bass. And set-up is a breeze because the speakers are color coded!
Summary: For what you're getting, you couldn't possible get a better deal. I snagged this up when it was just under $300 and I wouldn't have regretted paying a lot more for it. Took me about 45 minutes to get it hooked up but that was mostly because I had some complicated speaker runs.
Summary: I purchased this home theater in a box because it was more affordable than purchasing components separately. If you're seriously concerned with audio quality, I doubt you'll be looking at HTiB options, so this review will focus on the rest of us who want better sound than factory TV speakers at an...
Summary: I did my research, and boy am I glad I did. This is an incredible bang for your buck system. I bought it because of prior experience with Onkyo components and their known quality, the reviews on the speaker quality pushed me the rest of the way to buy.
