Summary: Inputs do not always activate such as HDMI inputs, must restart unit to activate. Expected an Onkyo system to be much louder.. Radio channels and saving presets is not intuitive and should be improved. Owned for a few years - still works sound is clear so happy for high quality internal components.
Summary: This system sound amazing in my home theater. The receiver has a tone on settings and the subwoofer is very powerful!!! I have not experience any issue with compatibility between all of the component I use that are connected to the receiver. Highs and lows shound great after setup for your room. IPOD doc is neat and works great!!! I would buy again!!
Summary: This sounds real good for the price which was 580 at the time. A month into owning this and it wasn't outputting any sound. The support number is nothing but music and if you choose for them to call you that feature is broken. Also when shopping for this the specs were wrong on onkyos website. I emailed them and they said they would fix it. Only took a week to get back to me. So if it works it sounds great.
Summary: Great HT for the $$$. I got it when it was $508 shipped. Nothing I dislike about this entire system. Speakers are pretty loud and very clear. Nothing crazy. Sub fills my 18' x 28' room to my surprise... System is very good for music as well as movies. I thought I was buying a newer HT system on the cheap... I wound up with a really nice system. Pairs well with my Samsung Smart TV.
Summary: Sadly I had this system in it's box for a few months before I got to set it up, but once we got settled I got right on it! I am running this system with my Samsung 46" LED, xbox 360, Samsung blue ray and a Wii. Overall it's a very clean looking system, not a lot of clutter on the face at all. The speakers look great! I really like the towers, makes for a great look and you don't have to buy separate stands. The rear component inputs are pretty straight forward.
Crips, clear, and powerful sound at an affordable price.

Summary: The Onkyo HT-S7300 7.1 Channel Home Theater is awesome! It's sound is crisp, clear and powerful, and will satisfy the most demanding audiophile. If you are looking for an affordable home theater system with great sound quality for movies, games and music, read on. Looks: The Onkyo HT-S7300 looks imposing and classy. The speakers have a very dark (black) wood finish. The wood has a nice luster to it, but is not glossy.
Summary: I wanted to upgrade my old home theater to one that had multiple HDMI inputs and 7.1 audio. After looking at many reviews I narrowed my search to this Onkyo system. I am impressed. Not many bluray movies have 7.1 audio(I am starting to see more and more) but when I hear all 7 speakers going and the subwoofer shaking I feel like I am in a movie theater. It also upconverts all of my sources to 1080P so the picture is top notch. It's nice to have one system do it all...
Summary: For the current (sale) price of this HT system, you cannot beat it. The input options are great. I have my PS3, Cable box, and a loose HDMI to Mini HDMI (for connecting my video camera) hooked into the HDMI ports with an extra left over. I have my turntable connected to the "RCA" inputs and my iPod nano stays plugged into the included dock. What more could you need? Hook up is easy and self-explanatory. Match the colored wires to the same colored terminals.
