If you are really wanting to run 7 speakers and can't accommodate towers up front... well, work it out. The upconversion, additional inputs, and dual subwoofer outputs is more than enough justification in our book. For more information, please visit www.onkyousa.com . Read more

First the sound system - After getting everything set up and hooked up the sound and quality of what came from the system was great. However, after a bunch of my own troubleshooting and working with Onkyo it was determined that the HDMI passthrough was not passing all signals. Since the item was less than 2 weeks old, I contacted vanns and they quickly issued me a RMA and offered a refund since the item wasnt in stock and couldnt tell me when it would be again. The... Onkyo's reputation with regards to audio processing precedes itself. I love the convenience of having everything sent in one box. I'm using the system to run a Samsung upconverting DVD player and a Comcast HD/DVR Box with a 46" Samsung 1080P LCD (all HDMI, which I also love). I've only had it installed a few days, and I'm already in love with it. My test dvds have been Iron Man and Sin City. The system more than adequately handled these demanding soundtracks with clarity... Read more or see product
Great sounding system for the money. Easy to hook up - 4 hdmi in-ports. The ipod port is a big plus, once ipod is plugged in it can be controlled by remote and is charged by the docking port. Overall a high quality system - huge bass; everything was carefully & neatly packed; fairly easy setup; and has excellent, thunderous sound which can be finely tuned. Speakers can be hung on wall or stood up on a surface. Highly recommended. Read more
