Summary: If you know what your doing and actually take the time to set up this system, it will blow you away. The sub has very clean and punchy bass, although I wish it had more power. The speakers themselves are bigger (and lighter) than expected, but they have great quality and will fill an entire school...
Summary: This system is great when it works, which for me is not very often. The subwoofer quit working after a couple of months. They fixed it for "free" after I paid for shipping to return it to them. Now the CD stereo connection has stopped working.
Summary: Had it for two years now. Sound is amazing. Should of bought the 5.1 channel considering alot of movies export to 5.1 but video games feel like a roller costar and with this bass is so powerful to make an impact on sound that I leave it at 1/4 of the volume.
I like everything about it except for the subwoofer

Summary: I also have an Onyko 5.1 home theater system in my basement, I bought the 7.1 because it has 3D pass-thru. I like everything about it except for the subwoofer, which seems to be a common complaint with this model.
Summary: So far the system is working excellent. My theater room was pre-wired and i can understand a complaint about poor quality of wires which came with system. I also used my own better quality cable for woofer and so far it has been responsive as expected.
Returned my RCA and replaced with this! Wonderful choice.

Summary: Fantastic item. Before the Holidays we purchased a cheaper RCA system at WalMart. It kept cutting out randomly though Thanksgiving and Christmas. We finally had enough and bought this unit and had it before New Years. It is about double the price we paid for the RCA, but easily 4x better.
Summary: Sound is great for the price, but ultimately you get what you pay for. Sub died after three months of use. Capacitors blew up / melted all over the board. I've never ran it at anything above 25% volume.
Summary: I only used the sub a few times before it started making a buzzing noise. I unplugged it at the time and did not think much of it. Then I turned the sub back on a while later and had music playing. I came back after 5 minutes and the sub was SMOKING!
