Summary: A couple of years ago I got the OK to get a new home theater system from the MRS. The only requirement she gave me was NO Big Boxes. She was wanting it to be as low visual impact as possible. The family room is large and not ideal for setup, but the Omnipolar speakers really open up the sound stage and give you a great sound. The Left and Right tweeters are aimed 45 degrees out to help expand the sound stage beyond the bar.
Summary: So the speaker is great. First, I'm pissed I didn't setup my custom wiring to account for the fact the it controls left right and center speakers... oh well. Wish it had a way to bridge all the speakers to work as a "single center speaker"... but it doesn't. It sounds great. Installation was... challenging. Not that its a problem but they give you SOOOOO many options that it takes a while to figure out all the pieces and exactly how you actually want the speaker mounted.
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised with the speaker after ordering it on sale last week. The speaker looks great. Very small with an amazing sound. Very easy to setup. (Although the back of the speaker is a little tight with banana clips, I needed to connect the wire directly into the speaker directly). Paired with my Yahama R667 receiver, I was impressed with the rich sound it provided. This was my first experience with a combined L/R/Center system and I am very happy with it.
Summary: Nice compact speaker system that fits in most AV cabinets. Avoids the in-wall speaker or floor standing speaker installation issues. Good sound quality for the size; however, does require a subwoofer.
Summary: Great product. Sound quality is superior, only very limited on the low end so make sure you get a sub. This is much better than a 5 channel surround sound bar. If you can handle installing the two rear channels in the back, like they were meant to be, then this product will do great for the front 3 channels.
