Summary: Bought a pair for surround speakers, already had the larger Mirage Sats and center. These work fine as surrounds not sure I would use them as fronts, the sound may not be quite spacious enough.
Summary: I've had these speakers for a couple of years now and they are hooked up to my Denon surround sound system. For the size the are truly remarkable. Watching movies and concerts are just like being there. I would without doubt buy these again.
Summary: I have loved Mirage speakers, since they've been acquired I have been concerned. These sound good as complimentary speakers and the small discrete form factor is a plus for what I am using them for.
Summary: I wanted a pair of back speakers to match the Mirage fronts and these have met my expectations. I prefer an 'airy' surround sound and these fill my listening area quite nicely. I'm no snooty audiophile who needs to impress guests with thousands of dollars of audio equipment, just a guy that likes what he hears at a price that's affordable.
Summary: Mirage products are extremely well made for the price. I use these as surround speakers and they are excellent in this role...the midbass is limited but that's to be expected for a speaker of this size. The sound overall is quite refined, very happy with them.
Summary: I bought these speakers to pair with my new Yamaha RX810 receiver. The Satellite speakers are really small and beautifully made. They look futuristic if you leave the grille off. In short they pass the wife approval test with flying colors. The sound quality so far has been amazing. Another reviewer seemed to think that they needed to replace their center channel speaker with something else.
Summary: I purchased this system to downsize from larger, older speakers and have had it set up for several months now. The sound is crisp and clean and easily fills my rather large living room (13' x 23'). The sound from the subwoofer is amazing for its size, however it doesn't have quite the same clarity and punch that my old 12" sub did with half the wattage. I think it is a worthwhile trade off though, since the Mirage sub is pretty much invisible and still sounds great.
