Summary: Overall I am very happy with the sound bar. It looks great under a 60" tv and provides excellent sound that is clear at volume levels as high as any reasonable person would need it to without distortion. If you realize that this is not a full home theatre system, I think this is one of the best deals out there for this class of sound bar.
Poor bluetooth range, poor sound. Get a real 5.1 if you can.

Summary: I was sort of happy with this, in a quite small living room, except for the Bluetooth function. I had to put my phone really close to the sound bar (no more than 10 feet) for it to work or sound will cut constantly. Sound was OK, better than the bare TV at least, and it has many connectivity options and features, integrating well with an LG TV.
Summary: I guess I was kind of expecting more from the sound, but it does a pretty good job. What I like most about this sound bar is its sleek design. I like the fact that it is small and fits right underneath the TV without any issues. There are cheaper LG sound bars available, but they are more bulky and don't blend in as well as this one does. It was easy to setup. I simply plugged an HDMI cable into it, and plugged it into the ARC HDMI input on my TV, then turned it on.
Sounds like a $25 desk speaker. Sound isn't there for the cost and power.

Summary: I love the look and style of this bar but the looks are all it has going for it. The sound was mediocre at best. The highs were flat and "tunnelly" sounding. The bass was decent but sometimes the wireless woofer cut out. The features were excellent. Turned on and off automatically with the optical connection but the sound quality just isn't there for such a powerful system. Try the Bose Cinemate 2 speaker system. Not much more installation hassle but way better sound.
Summary: A quality soundbar: as some others have posted, I do find myself opting for the simple "bypass" sound setting rather than the various EQ tweaks they've built into it. Also, my original thought in buying this more expensive LG model was that I was investing more in sound quality plain & simple, but after seeing it and noticing the frequent usage of the term "sleek" in the title and description, it occurred to me that the packaging of a decent sound in such a slim design...
Summary: Nice unit- one big problem with mine. The Audio signal just stops every 3-8 seconds, completely annoying. The TV speakers do not do this, it is something to do with the system. I like it otherwise, but it has to go back. I don't know what I will replace it with.
Summary: PLugged it in... powered on mounted it... and programmed my directtv remote to contrdl it... works great no complaints,... only reason not 5 stars is because of the over all loudness... i wish it was a little louder.
Summary: This sound bar fits perfectly under our LG 55LA6900 mounted on the stand… There is about 3/8" clearance from the top of the sound bar to the bottom of the TV, and about 3/16" clearance from the bottom of the sound bar (as it sits on the 19 mm riser) to the top of the TV stand… Set-up was quick and easy and the sound is great in a 14 x 18 ft room… I've never had a surround sound system, but this meets all of my wants and needs w/ out having any additional speakers...
