... bought an LG 60" TV but I was not happy with the sound

Summary: I bought an LG 60" TV but I was not happy with the sound. Just not the quality I wanted. So I popped for this thing. Boy am I glad I dad. In my humble opinion it makes a great addition to the TV. Easy to hook up, plug it in and connect the optical cable (included )to the TV and Sound Bar.
Summary: Anybody who says this device is no better than the built in speakers on their flat panel is confused. This will not replace a full 2.1 or 5.1 system. However, it does add more than enough sound quality to make watching regular TV more enjoyable.
Summary: Relatively good soundbar. Two gripes: (1) You must cycle through inputs which makes it annoying to use with the Harmony Remote. (2) There's a weird bug with the AppleTV in which the sound cuts out after I play any video content after finishing a video (i.e. while bingeing a TV show).
Summary: Never had a sound bar so don't know what they should really do. It did help the sound for the television but just doesnt have the sound quality I would expect for the price. It certainly improves hearing the TV better but not sure I would go this route if you rock to music with it.
Summary: Purchased this about 3 weeks after getting a 47 in LG LED tv. The built in TV speakers left a lot to be desired, a full surround system was out of the question money wise, so figured getting a sound bar was the next obvious step.
