Summary: You get what you pay for and then some. Simulated surround sound is unimpressive, but overall the sound quality is good for a sub-$300 system. Power is more than adequate to fill a large room. Bluetooth connectivity for the subwoofer and headphones is a nice touch. I am satisfied.
Great improvement over LG TV speakers; bright lights though.

Summary: At first I wasn't sure this speaker bar and subwoofer was adding anything to the quality of the sound from my new LG5400; then I muted the TV speakers, fiddled with the various speaker modes for the soundbar, and increased the subwoofer impact. What a difference.
Summary: I didn't realize how poor the sound was on my LG television until I heard the sound from another brand. I had been turning the sound on the LG way up, and still the sound track (especially voice) was muddy. I purchased this sound-bar, and the difference is amazing.

Summary: I have been in market for a soundbar for past 2 months.I had Yamaha Receiver and polk speakers which needs replaced by a soundbar to cut the clutter. As i already had true surround system,i will compare on various brand i have experience with before settling down to two major brands.
Summary: This is not 5.1, 7.1 audiophile-type surround sound with helicopers & bullets flying around the room, so don't expect it to be that. It is a very good alternative to spending a bunch of money and a lot of time wiring speakers all over your living room and having a much better sound than the speakers...
Great addon to HDTV for those not wanting full Surround System

Summary: This is exactly what I was looking for. I replaced a more powerful component system and now all those speakers and the AV receiver are gone. I'm left with one little sound bar communicating wirelessly with a subwoofer hidden from view. It "feels" like 80% of what I had.
Summary: I have a serious home theater downstairs, so I wanted simplicity for the living room. Flat panel speakers don't cut it, so I ordered this based on specs and reviews. Then I wnnt to a store to hear one and was very concerned because it was not impressive.
Summary: B+, for sure. The Bluetooth connectivity is an aspect that could push this into the A range (my Pandora and StreamFurious stations are wonderful here), and the sound is close as well. It would be better to have lights (both on the bar and the sub) that can be darkened.
Summary: It's true - speakers for most new flat panel TV's just aren' that good. I knew I wanted to consider a soundbar after I recently purchased a new LG Smart TV. Short story - no issues; works really well; great sound for it's size and pricepoint. I couldnt be happier!
