Summary: I really want to be happy with this and seeing that it is potentially discontinued now is not encouraging. Shame on you LG.
Pros: I like the sound. It sounds really great when you have it all set up correctly.
Cons: The auto-power off disable does not work. It auto-powers off every time you turn the TV off. Then it takes too long to turn back on and it goes to the inputs screen and flashes over to a blank screen instead of putting the last input in (i.e. HDMI 1). Also, on the remote, I seem to have a tendenc...
Summary: For the price, you get a lot of cool features. Sound is right on par (not absolutely mind blowing, but really quite good). I can't turn it up past half-way without bothering my neighbors.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, several premium apps to choose from, wireless rear speakers (well... they wire into a powered box, but not running all the way from the receiver), the subwoofer has a very capable range. 3D also works great. I have it hooked up to my 3D LG Plasma.
Cons: It could use a couple more HDMI inputs, but for most people 2 is plenty considering Blu-Ray is internal and won't need an additional input. My 2 inputs are being used by my cable box and xbox.
Cons: Can't even see price until you're at the screen before final payment. That was annoying enough NOT to buy it regardless of the deal. There are better systems that regularly drop price on deals on here, to add that annoyance is a deal breaker.
Summary: Barely satisfied with purchase. At the current price point a flagship product was expected. Buy along with a non-internet LG TV if you want simplicity in an all in one package and don't mind rebooting the unit every so often it freezes or gnashing your teeth at the sluggish GUI.
Pros: High standing front speakers and rear-wireless speakers are a plus; Built-in Wifi keeps cables out of sight. Supports premium services like Netflix. Plays most popular MP4 formats and MKV files either from network or USB.
Cons: It doesn't turn on, it boots up. Graphic user interface is sluggish and on screen keyboard is painfully slow to use. System freezes frequently when switching from one application to another or when doing multiple searches in those applications; LG's market place is useless. The included remote is...
Summary: Any music will sound empty through this thing.
Pros: Everything on this system does come and work as advertised. The WiFi surround speakers are really cool and work.
Cons: The front speakers are lacking any mid-range capability. I thought maybe technology was coping with such small mid-ranges.... Uh nope. Just squeaky highs and base. Descent for just movies and TV, but really hollow sounding.
