R. Shepard, Amazon
20 November 2013

out of stock and out of gas

Thomas L., Newegg
4 March 2013
  • Pros: For the time this was a pretty good Bluray player and home theater system. Dialog was always hard to hear, and I usually just put some volume on the TV speakers to make it audible. Now at the three year mark I haven't had a firmware update in a while and it throws an error code when I try and pla...

Disappointed

David J. Riebe "lxluthr", Amazon
5 December 2012
  • Summary: After reading the reviews about the crackling sound and slow transition from input to input but I still went ahead and ordered it. The sound really was great but it was so frustrating waiting for the inputs to switch. And the crackling sound (for me) only happened on High Def programming.

Slow, clunky and poorly engineered.

Steve, Amazon
21 April 2012
  • Summary: First the Pros: Wireless setup is easy. Now the cons: 1) Response to remote control commands very slow. New batteries, same problem. 2) Switching modes is very slow. Clicking through all the necessary steps just to listen to the radio is slow and tedious.

Tom Verniere, Amazon
28 February 2012
  • Summary: Like many others I also have the frequent popping noise when changing channels or changing between the settings etc, and I also have a constant whistle sound coming from the speakers. I noticed this after using it for about three months.

Good basic unit for the money.

Robert Campbell, Amazon
4 February 2012
  • Summary: I've owned this LG LHB535 since October of 2010, so I have some history with this gear. I'm not an audiophile, but I do enjoy music and movies. This LG fits my need for a good basic system that provides me with 5.1 surround sound, a means to stream Netflix and VUDU (HD movies) as well as listen to...

Exceeded my expectation on a Blu-ray Home Theater

Sean, Amazon
25 October 2011
  • Summary: Just received it today and spent a whole night playing with it. Exceeded my expectation for $300! Surprises include: 1. Plugged in my USB external hard drive, it plays all sorts of media files from the drive, eliminating the need for a computer; 2.
