Summary: I knew LG made exceptionally good products so when I went looking for a surround sound system they were first on my list. After reading the reviews I made my decision and purchased it. The system booms and the Blu-Ray player is something to behold (first-time Blu-Ray owner). All in all the price was great and the system is great! Fast shipping too. Definitely recommend!
Summary: Overall, pretty happy with this purchase. Good enough system for the price. Got a refurb for $160. Was in the market for a plain ol' Blu-Ray player and saw this with the speakers and internet connectivity to boot. Turns out my TV's internet features are way more robust so this is mostly a sound system and occasional DVD player. Only downsides to me: 1 - Already had one issue with the system freezing while the tray was stuck open.
Summary: I got this surround sound blue-ray player and loved it. Only had a problem, the first one came defective and wouldn't read any type of disc you put in, for example Blue-ray;DVD;CD. So I called Amazon and told them the problem and they told me to pack it up and they will send me a new replacement(Which was within my 30 day purchased), no question asked. Received the new one and never had a problem ever since. Sure it doesn't play 3D-blue-ray but I don't need it anyhow.
Summary: To be clear, I bought this 'used-very good' from amazon for $225 shipped. It was purely an open box but new item. My review is based on this price. For $225, this is very nice. My old all in one system, a JVC, had died so I needed a new one. Based on how often this gets used and the timing (needed it before weekend when company would be staying in the basement where it would be)(was not in the budget this month) I went cheap. It is a Blu Ray player. It is a 5.1 system.
