System works great, but no wireless subwoofer as advertised by Amazon!
Summary: It turns out that this system does not have a wireless subwoofer as advertised by LG, just the rear 2 speakers are wireless. Also sometimes between commercials all the speakers will make a loud pop noise when the next commercial comes on.
Summary: I've never bought a speaker system other than through the Vine program. I wouldn't consider spending any large sum of money without being able to hear the quality. Luckily on Amazon the reviews help. You can at least compare and maybe find the system somewhere local to hear how well the speakers perform before purchasing on Amazon. Setting up the system was easy, didn't need the manual.
Summary: This system was easy to set up. The sound is awesome. Hear thing never heard before. (Gaming sounds). The remote is extra big and a little complicated to use. The only thing didn't really care for is it is not truly wireless. All the speakers still have wires to them. The 2 back speakers have a box that plugs in and the wires to those speakers you can sit anywhere that is the only thing that is wireless.
Beautiful picture and sound, not so seamless installation/non-responsive remote and difficult set up.

Summary: This entertainment center has everything you could ever need for your living room: great sound for watching movies and tv, as well as games (XBox games on this system make you feel like you're in a real war zone!. You can watch regular DVDs or Blurays, and you can also play your cds and listen to the traditional radio (AM/FM). Our family watched the movie of Life of Pi on Bluray last week and we were blown away by the gorgeous picture and crazy surround sound!
Summary: This blueray DVD is a nice little system overall. I have it setup in our family room which is a 22'x32' room with vaulted ceilings. Love the overall sound during movies or plugging in ipad, & just turning on pandora or a cd of music for that matter.

Summary: I thought I was being impressed with the 5.1 channel sound, now I am really impressed with the 9.1 channel immersive sound that this system puts out. Our movies have more depth and power to them. The experience is nothing I've ever experienced before. This unit is very well packaged and very secure. Setting the system up was fairly simple, just by using the enclosed picture diagram.
Summary: The sound quality that this system possesses is pretty impressive, especially when you've got it going on its 9.1 setting. Color coded wiring and quick snap plugs make installation a breeze. You'll literally be up and running within minutes. It's a very easy system to setup but it should also be said up front that even though the rear speakers are "technically" wireless, they more or less fit that description by being wired to a wireless transmitter box, which needs to...
Fantastic system; minor correction on wireless description

Summary: I love this system the flexability and control is awesome. You can customize this system to satisfy whatever need you have. From room shaking bass to a more subdued quietness you can have it all. Setup for this system was simple, but not perfect. We have the LG 55LA6900 television (55" LED) and the home theater system connected pretty easily to it.
Summary: I absolutely love this home theater system from LG. Before I get into the specifics of the review, I want to make one disclaimer to everyone so it is absolutely clear. The description says Wireless Rear Speakers, and in my opinion, this isn't exactly accurate. The rear speakers connect via wires to a receiver that connects via a wireless transmitter to the blu-ray device.
Summary: This is a revised review. Previously I gave this product 5 stars because it was easy to hook up and worked great. The problem occurred when a 3-month-old puppy chewed through all 4 of my speaker wires. Oops. Oh well, accidents happen. It should be easy enough to get new ones. Speaker wires are cheap and widely available. Right? Wrong. The problem is, these speaker wires have special, proprietary connectors. They are little square plastic things.
