Summary: Okay when I was doing the research on this model I wasn't sure what I was going to get ... some pictures showed it with a dvd player some didn't. I wasn't familiar with this type of home theater system, I thought they all came with a receiver.
Summary: I bought this system with the intention of just using the receiver to hook up my expensive speakers. but after I plugged it all in and gave it a listen, I was very impressed with the sound of the speakers and bass. the bass sound itself is that of a much more expensive system.
Summary: I bought this for my husband for a present. Despite it being an obscure, unheard-of brand, this system was better than I expected as far as sound quality. I also really like that the speakers are small (about 4"x4"x4"), so they are unobtrusive in our really small living room.
Summary: Bought these as part of a personal Home Theater set-up for a 200 sq foot space. Easy to put together - color coded plugs and sockets. You wouldn't need more - no need to waste money on other speakers for 90% of uses. Excellent value for money.
Summary: First off the center channel didn't work at all, and if I plugged in the center channel it would mess up the left channel also. I stripped off the RCA plugs, and found the speaker wire to be quite thin, and easily breakable.
Summary: I was skeptical at first by the price and all but the moment I plugged this into my ps3 I could hear everything clearly now. The five speakers really bring a liveliness to the gameplay plus great sound for a great price. PS: If you don't have 5.1ch receiver, get one before using this.
Summary: For the cost, this system is very nice. It is particularly efficient for a smaller room though because the amount of cord given is not too much. The sound, again taking into account the price, is great as well. It is also easy to set up.
