Summary: Beware. The product is no longer supported by Harmon (JBL). Purchased a little over a year ago. If you lose the remote or it wears out (like mine) - you cant even beg Harmon for one. When I attempted to purchase one - I received a mono-syllabic response - "no longer make product".

Summary: The optical connector broke. That is, the place where you plug in your optical wire just broke and it became useless. Before that, the soundbar would have these tinny ringing episodes on top of the sound being played. Just a little over a year out, I have to trash this. Not a good investment.
Summary: I have bought this product and so did my parents. The remote does not work unless your 5 feet away for the sound bar. The sound is great but it is very annoying to get up to change the volume.
Summary: Sound is great for the price! I wasn't necessarily looking to buy, but came across this product as a lightning deal and acted on the nice discount. Amazon (as usual) shipped earlier than expected and within minutes of receiving...it was connected and filling my living room with sound.
Summary: Perfect? It is nearly perfect. The sound is simply outstanding. To me, the tone and bass and everything about the sounds is perfect. Plug it into your television via an optical audio cable and you are in business.
Summary: Performance: The Speaker Bar produces decent sound at both high and low volume without much distortion. The High volume is high enough to fill in a good size room and then some. I was using it in a smaller room approx 17 by 21 and it was plenty.
