Summary: The JBL Cinema SB100 is easy to use and can be paired with the cable remote. You can the use just one remote for sound. You still must keep the soundbar remote handy, hoever, to turn it off and on. The soundbar has bass booost also.

Summary: This sound bar has been awesome. It sleeps automatically, can be controlled by my TV remote and it sounds great. I coudn't ask for anything more. The only "con" for some people would be lack of bluetooth and HDMI. Neither of those are cons for me.
Summary: Let me first explain that this gets one star simply for value, because I paid only $100 and at over $130 it would be four stars. I'm probably influenced by the fact that I spend more money on Harmon International products, which includes JBL and their professional products and Crown amps, than many spend on their homes. But I'll look at this for what it is and that it's from their low end consumer division and not pro audio.
Summary: The optical cable is only 3 feet which is OK for a wall mount. I connected it and set it behind the TV. It sounded as bad as the Sharp TV speakers. I found an audio cable the next day and set it on a shelf above the TV. Much better. The last thing I did was program it to my Sharp remote. When it goes into standby it doesn't remember the last audio setting. Now I like it. I still need to anchor it. The speakers rolled over in the La Habra earthquake.
Summary: There is no instruction manual. These speakers are so under powered, they would not fill a 10x15' room. There is no "on" light. Do not buy this speaker if you have a room more than 20x12'. If you buy, get a woofer.
