Summary: This modestly priced soundbar is a great improvement over our TV's built-in speakers. I can hear many details that were inaudible before, and the sound is much more clear. It doesn't have deep bass, but I didn't expect that without a sub-woofer. Setup was easy, and the little remote is handy. I wouldn't call it "3D", but its surprisingly good stereo, with a wide sound field and nice mid-range definition, of vocals and such. Great for movies!
Summary: The JBL Cinema SB100 is easy to use and can be paired with the cable remote. You can the use just one remote for sound. You still must keep the soundbar remote handy, hoever, to turn it off and on. The soundbar has bass booost also.
Summary: I purchased this sound-bar back in Dec of 2013 and today I was very disappointing problem, stopped working. I put up with the unit going to sleep, even though it had a signal from the sound source. However, even though it had a big problem (this is why I do a lot of business with Amazon) I called up Amazon and they are shipping another unit to me tomorrow. I hope that this was just a bad unit and I am willing to give JBL another chance.
Summary: a little overpriced for what you get , not user friendly in regards to adjustments via your tv remote. Tricky hooking up to tv in regards that you can not use both connection cables together, one or the other. I suggest the fiber optic one.
Summary: As far as the sound bar audio is concerned, it seems OK. I did have a problem with the connection since I am not a tech guy. I tried everything, and nothing seemed to work. I knew nothing of any of the other wires/instructions and had no clue what they were for or what the instruction meant, so I call JBL to ask for help.
Summary: Not wanting to go with a full fledged surround sound system, I tried this sound bar. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it has certainly exceeded my expectations. The sound is very rich, decent bass and the spoken word is distinct. I mounted it on the wall right under the TV and it looks and performs very well. Only issue is that it isn't very loud at it's loudest.
