Summary: I reviewed all of our options when we built our new home in regards to the media system that we wanted to run our entire house, including zones to operate outside. After reviewing many systems, we decided on the Denon 3313CI receiver 7-2 because of its ability to operate different zones. We have had this now for almost 8 months and we have had issues already. First, its ability to pick up some FM stations was not very good.
disfunctional with hdmi, and denon repair is unreachable

Summary: Maybe the other reviewers are denon employees. That's the only way I can explain the high ratings, and the absence of complaints about an issue that is reported on many other websites. When using hdmi, the screen will occasionally go black for about three seconds. When you're watching a movie, that's really annoying. And if you hope to have it fixed, better clear a week on your calendar, because denon repair is impossible to reach.
Summary: I purchased this system in December and found it to be less than anticipated. The passive woofer is exactly that: Too passive and is, in many instances, non existent. Having come from owning a Yamaha/Klipch system (which I gave to my son-in-law and boy am I sorry now!) and looking for something more compact, the Denon falls considerably short of what I am used to. Picture quality was not an issue to begin with as I coupled the Denon with a 40" Sony LCD.
