Summary: I have tried to get the radio (AM and FM) to recieve stations but cannot get the radio to work. I have tried verious antennas but none will work. My old set works but the new Denon will not bring in any stations. Therefore I would like to return the Denon set. Please advise the proceduer.
Summary: This item worked great for about two weeks. It then proceeded to take in a CD and would not play it or reject the CD. I had to return it with the CD still in it. This item has some problems and I would advise against buying it. Please do not ignore the reviews on this item.
Summary: Can I give negative stars? I had my system for one month and it died. That was in May. It is now September and my replacement shipment has just shipped. It was only replaced because I called 500+ times, sent emails to the entire company and was basically a daily sqeaky wheel till I got some results. I have never delt with such poor customer service...ever. Stay away from Denon. I wish I bought a Bose.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!!! DENON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORIABLE!!!. I purchased this unit in April worked for about a month(same thing as below unit would not power on just flash orange) SENT BACK TO DENON on MAY 28 AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF TRYING TO DO SO, THEY REQUIRED THAT I FAX THEM A FORM THEN THEY WOULD FAX IT BACK TO ME WITH A REPAIR SRA # ON IT. COST AROUND $70 FOR ME TO SHIP TO THEM RECIVED UNIT BACK.

Summary: Under entirely different circumstances, I would have agreed wholeheartedly with the two other reviews posted for the Denon S101 DVD Home Theater. While the product works, the picture and sound are wonderful, the units are compact and a joy to look at. But something has happened after a few months of owning my S101 which is making me rethink my opinion of it as a product and of Denon in general. First, the remote control died.
Summary: I bought the Denon S-101 2.1 home theater system to get rid of all the wires my wife didn't like! I thought the system sounded better than the Bose 3-2-1 system and I got a good deal from Best Buy when I bought my 50" panasonic plasama tv. The S-101 had decent sound, not great, but good. The sub woofer had adjustments but was not earth shaking! After using the system for 13 months the dvd player failed to recognize the dvd's and cd's I was trying to play.
As horrible experience as others. DO NOT BUY Denon

Summary: I purchased this unit in Oct. 2005 and like others, it malfunctioned in July '06 with no sound coming from the unit. I tried to receive service from the local service center listed on Denon's webpage. They took the unit from me and then three weeks later called me to tell me to pick up the unit as they don't repair units not purchased from their store. Why are they listed as a service center?? Strike One. In Aug. sent the unit to Denon's main service center.
Summary: I have ALWAYS LOVED Denon products, especially their receivers. When I was looking for a bedroom system, I spotted this thing for $500 at the local retailer (which was 50% off). I almost ripped my wallet trying to get my plastic out! I brought it home and it sounded AWESOME after some minor fine tuning. I am an audio nut, so I knew better than to expect surround from 2 speakers, but it was definitely stereo on sterroids.
