Summary: For gaming this has the right about of power in the right places. For most other setups this is a good intro level system.
Pros: 4 custom configuration quick select buttons that allow you to save settings for up to 4 sources (or one source, 4 different ways). Powered sub is just the right amount of bass. Front ports for quick hookup of a phone or aux device. Turn on volume setting. Power sub auto standby.
Cons: Big, but acceptable. Configuration is a tedious but rewarding process. Manual is limited (suggest downloading the full one at DENON website)
Summary: I'm using it with video game consoles and cable box. Well, it's definitely a big step up after built-in TV speakers. The reciever on its own is a nice piece of gear: supports 3D, has plenty of various inputs, displays info on the TV and its own screen, the remote is easy to use.
