Summary: This Avr 1312 is bad receiever. It problems turning on. I have to press power switch multiple times to turn this on. It goes blinking red on the power switch. I have turning it for warranty service.
Summary: We bought this in used-very good condition, and it worked well for a while. Then one day it made a popping sound while we were watching tv and we smelled electrical wires burning. After that, it wouldn't turn on again and we're still in the process of getting it fixed. Good thing we bought an outside warranty at the time of purchase!
Great until the subwoofer quit...4 times in the shop

Summary: This system is great and with regret I am returning it today for good after several (4) visits to the shop to fix the issue with the subwoofer. After a couple of months of uninterrupted use, the subwoofer just did not engage, just like that. The guys at Denon (CR) had it working non stop for a week at their shop, did not have any issues, according to them, but after a week back here it gave up again and so am I; moving to another brand.
Fair Price But Only Fair Performance, Expect Failure

Summary: I use this receiver and speaker system for TV, movies, music, and video games. It is a vast improvement over the HD TV audio output. However, it has two issues in its performance. When attempting to play PS3 on this system, the TV screen will "skip," show a split second black screen, or even drop input altogether to the TV for a few seconds. I can tell that the PS3 is still working properly as it works without this issue when I played directly to the TV.
Summary: Seriously a great product. I love the boston acoustics speaker system. they deliver great sound and so does the sub. The denon receiver is pretty easy to use. skim through the manual and it has some pretty neat features(in my opninion). Pros: Great Sound Easy to setup and use Relatively inexpensive for what you are getting Cons: I Don't have these perfectly tweaked yet for my setup but at low volumes the sub tends to cut in and out and it's annoying.
