A great small system!

Summary: Great for small to medium sized rooms. Definitive has larger systems for bigger rooms, but this one is fantastic for bedrooms and smaller living rooms. The voicing is detailed without the brittle quality associated with sub $1000 small speaker systems. Also comes in white!
Summary: I purchased these speakers after seeing a couple articles about speaker systems that had the best "bang for the buck." Sure enough, these speakers sound AMAZING. Each speaker enclosure is piano black and feel REALLY solid. The thing I think that makes these sound so amazing is that each satellite speaker has a passive radiator that's pointed upward. You can see that the speakers not only have grilles on the front, but they wrap around to the top to cover the radiators.
Summary: Bought these speakers for my home theater room, room is about 16'x22' so it's a decent size and these speakers fill the whole room with full, crisp, non distorted sound even at max volume, the satellites are small but get plenty loud and the subwoofer might only be an 8" but it's mean, rumbles the floor and everything. got it paired with a Pioneer elite VSX-70 reciever which also handles business.
Summary: Purchased these on sale here at Amazon, have had them about a month and we all love this system. Coupled with a Denon 1613 receiver, they sound great even though I don't have them where I really want them yet. Still getting some cabinets installed, so we just have these temporarily placed around the room. Even without the optimum placement the quality of the sound is really surprising.
Summary: I wanted smaller size speaker sets for my bedroom and this fit the bill perfectly. I use class T amp (cheap) to drive a pair of this with the subwoofer (speaker in/out) configuration. These 2.1 setup replaced the TV sound and the sound is very good given the price point. I also had a chance setting the 5.1 up with a Sony receiver and I think for less than 1K, this is a neat solution to have 5.1 sounding system.
Summary: Most the reviews I read for this product said they were great for smaller rooms. Man are these speakers nice. I think they give a great sound and the little sub gives a good rumble even in the basement one a cement floor under the carpet. Speakers are a little big but still give the system great sound. I would definitely recommend this system. Will upgrade sub over time.
Summary: Not being an audiophile I cannot give a buzzword compliant review. However, I can tell you the speakers are great: - The sub can shake my walls if I let it using the volume and cut over dials - No tinny sound despite their small size - The white color makes the speakers easy to hide in plain sight - My Denon receiver and Xbox love it as much as I do
Pros: Great range of sound. Nice looking sleek design. Looks very high in quality. Great bass and also satellites are crisp. Used these with a Onkyo NR717 receiver and a subdude for bass isolation. Still waiting for these to fully break in to turn these puppies all the was up.
