Summary: I'm not an audiofile. In fact, I'm a typical middle aged male going a bit deaf. But I'll be straight forward. The sound this system produces is amazing. I feel like I'm in a real theater. In fact, now that movies are being released on DVD earlier I'm just waiting. The big blockbuster action movies with explosions and lasers and mayhem are the best. You're surrounded by chaos that sends the cat running for it's life.
Summary: German engineering and sensibility combine to create a very nice set of compact home theater speakers in both audio and appearance. The sub-woofer may be small, but the overall sound quality is impressive when we crank up the volume. It more than fills the room. Hearing some of the sounds coming from behind us makes us feel like we're finally allowing the Bravia to live up to all its glorious, digital potential. The speakers are small in size, but solidly built.
Summary: We hooked this up to our Samsung 3-D LED Smart HDTV. I was excited to try this because the one shortcoming of our television was the sound--sometimes the vibration noise was prominent & irritating. We did not mount any of the speakers on the wall, which I know is weird to most people but it's best for us. We placed the subwoofer in the corner, the very compact satellite speakers around the room and the center speaker on the table right underneath the television.
Summary: I'm not a technical person. I can't provide you with all the specs, that's what my husband's department but I can tell you that the Canton Movie 90 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System is one of the most wonderfully awesome additions we've made to our home. Hooking this up to our VIZIO LED Smart HDTV and Vizio Blu-Ray Player , we now have a truly fantastic theater experience, right in our own living room. It was exactly what we envisioned when we made our Vizio purchases.
Summary: This is a quality set of speakers that puts out a great sound. I finally got around to wiring them up for a test and based on their relative small size I was not expecting much - but I was pleasantly surprised into a wow! moment when I powered them up and gave them a listen. The satellites are very well matched; the subwoofer is quite compact and while it doesn't have the power to shake things in the room, it comes on as solid and manages to fill the lower end of the...
Great Sound System, Frustrating Lousy Instructions

Summary: Now that we have the subwoofer and speakers hooked up, it sounds absolutely awesome and gives a totally different movie watching experience than using just the sound on our regular Samsung TV. But the instructions are just HORRIBLE and we were confused with the hookup! The instruction mix all languages together and give very little detail as to how the hook ups work.
Summary: We do not have a lot of space in our entertainment room, so I was very pleased to pick up the Canton Movie 90. I did not expect an $800 speaker set to pack as much power as my Polk speakers. These speakers are well constructed and impressive. They are small enough to easily mount throughout our room without worrying about them sticking out like an eye sore. It took a while and a few movies like Inception and the Dark Knight to break them in.
Solid set for the $ and love the small size of the subwoofer!

Summary: I should preface this review by saying that I am not an enthusiast when it comes to speakers and home theater systems. Until moving into a new home that was wired for sound a couple of months ago I had never had external speakers for sound, though I did often visit friends and family with home theater systems and acknowledge that their sound quality was vastly superior to mine.
Summary: I replaced my existing Polk Audio RM705 5.1 Home Theater System (Set of Six, Black) set up with the Canton Movie 90. The Polks are larger all around than the Canton, so I expected they might pack a bit more punch. Not so. The Cantons have significantly better build quality--especially the wire connectors--and the cabinets are tight and beautifully made. The are clearly designed for precise sound replication.
Summary: When first unpacking the box you can notice that these speakers are very small and nicely made, not cheap plastic. (Plus they are packed very well) The subwoofer even has a switch that you can On, Off, and Auto which I thought was very unique for a sound system when when I compare it to another one that I have (Panasonic SC-BTT195 3D Blu-Ray Disc 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater System)The overall design is very looks amazing plus it gives you the option of mounting your...
