  • Summary: We had a Boston acoustics sound bar and sub woofer that lasted us 6 years. We bought this refurbished one and the subwoofer works intermintantly just like our old one before it stopped working. My husband is very familiar with sound and alarm systems and is quite disappointed with this also.

Subwoofer is Useless

  • Summary: Wireless subwoofer cuts out constantly with Netflix, AT&T Uverse, or any other streaming service. It works a little better with the DVD player, but not much. Without the subwoofer, it's not any better than your TV speakers.

  • Summary: Every time we get the thing programmed, it works for a bit, then stops. We thought it might be from power outages, but we haven't had any in a long time, and it still just reverts back to not working. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Very disappointing.

  • Summary: Decent sound for the price. Better than tv speakers. Not sure why people complain they can't pair with direct tv remote. Works fine with my direct tv remote and I didn't even program it. It just worked. Now to the 4 star reason. While this is a decent bar for the price, it lacks great sound.

Not worth the money.

  • Summary: What a waste of money. The unit did not sync to our TV and the subwoofer quit working. The Boston Acoustics phone help said there was not any way to sync the unit with our TV. So, we would have to turn the TV on and off several times to get it to work properly.

Be Cautious

  • Summary: I had a bad experience, which could have been a very unique experience. The Home Theater unit would not "pair", which should have been set at the factory. So, it may have been a production issue.
