Summary: Pros: Price, Easy Connection and Setup Cons: Just about everything else. Slightly better (read richer, more bass) than built in TV speakers. Subwoofer looses connection and you must cycle the power to restore connection. Ambient sounds often overshadow dialogue necessitating overly loud average volume levels. Within a few months it stopped responding to the remote.
Summary: What a difference this soundbar makes for television use! It is like being in a theater! I have also hooked up my iPod to it and the sound is spectacular! What is nice is how easy it is to hook up. It programs to my remote for my satellite TV so I only need one remote for all. I would highly recommend this product if you want an easy way to add to your listening pleasure.
Summary: The subwoofer stopped working after 4 months. No reason why. Called support and they basically said that if I didn't have a receipt (which I don't anymore) than there's nothing they can do. Poor quality..
Summary: I always evaluate Amazon reviews prior to making a purchase ANYWHERE so I felt I needed to post here even though I purchased a refurbished unit thru another vendor. The unit was easy to setup - came with all the cables you could possibly need. Good instructions on how to set your TV or Satellite remote to control the unit too. Great for music!!!
Summary: I am pretty satisfied with this product. The sound quality is very good especially when you watch a movie with lots of explosions or deep bass sounds. I also use it when I listen to Pandora through Roku. It creates a dynamic sound in my room. I still can not figure out how to control the soundbar with my regular TV remote controller so I have to use the soundbar remote controller which is tiny.
Summary: I love this product but have one issue. The remote I use is for Direct TV. It programmed well except for the volume control which can raise volume but not reduce it. I tried repeatedly to use the remote volume button to lower the volume. Instead it merely increases the volume. Thank goodness there is the small remote provided by Boston Acoustics.
Summary: I upgraded from my original Boston Acoustics TVee Model Two as my new Samsung Plasma TV only had an optical out audio connection. The TVee 26 replaced the original well - smaller footprint not the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer is lighter by about 1/2. My wife (the ultimate judge) approves - sound is virtually unchanged and at the same high quality we grew to like with the original unit.
