Summary: I was really amazed when this arrived. I was expecting it to be rather difficult to get this set up due to the other reviews I'd read, but I didn't have much trouble at all. It was slightly tricky at first, but after a couple of tries, I got the hang of it. Once it was sync'ed to my remote, no problems! The sound is really good and full bodied. I have a great room with vaulted ceiling and hard tile floor.
Summary: I was looking for a solution for a mid size living room without having to drill a lot of holes and/or having to run cables in visible areas. I saw this on sale, read the reviews and thought it was worth giving it a try. I put a high value on excellent quality, but with this purchase I was willing to compromise a lot for convenience (sound bar sitting right underneath the TV, connected with only the optical cable that is included in the box plus the cord from the power...
Summary: Bought this as a simple addition to our LED TV after having watched an "action" movie on the TV and really noticing where the TV speakers were not adequate. It all arrives in a massive box--but one that has the everything pretty well protected--including cloth-like sleeves. Had the speaker and subwoofer working in <5 minutes and programmed into our cable remote another 5. Folding up the box for recycling took as long as the setup.
Summary: My new Vizio 42" smart HDTV has the acoustic quality of my 1962 eight transistor pocket radio, so I ordered this system to augment the sound. After reading all the negative reviews, I was almost scared to open the box. However, my apprehension was soon allayed. The one wire set up was incredibly easy with the included optic cable. Programming my TV remote was very easy and took less than five minutes.
Summary: I recently purchased a 60" Samsung HDTV Flat panel for our great room. This room is very large and open and has very high ceilings with an adjacent second story open floor plan. As a result, the television speakers, already at a disadvantage because they pointed down and not out, was simply inadequate to the point of being nonfunctional.
