sounds great but no night mode
1 April 2014
Summary: This thing is awesome, but there is no night mode. If you're unfamiliar, it's a one-button audio setting that silences the bass notes and adjusts the mid-tones and treble so that you can use the system without waking up your roommates and neighbors.
Summary: I knew when I bought it would be a challenge to get it to work with my remote. After about an hour or so I got to work and we just love it. It makes the TV sound clear and we were to turn the volume down to tolerable level.
Summary: A week ago, I purchased the Boston Acoustics TVee 25 from Amazon. I did not want the bulk of a true surround sound with wires so I purchased this system which I have hooked up to a Samsung 46" HDTV. The product arrived in excellent condition. Packaging was superb.
Summary: This is a great value and is an easy setup. I use it with my 32 inch flat panel TV in a medium sized family room. The subwoofer is powerful. If you turn it up too far, it washes out the midtones. The subwoofer also gets hot when left on for several hours.
Summary: Many of the reviews for this are pretty detailed so I'll just add to some of the previous statements. First, as far as programming the remote goes I'm not sure if it's dependent on the specific remote but for my tivo HD the remote programming took all of maybe 5 minutes, easy as could be.
Summary: Got this from Woot, so it was refurbished. Set up was very easy - the bar and woofer found each other without any difficulty. Sound is fine. clearly better and louder than the TV speakers. Did not have any trouble with interference, but then my BR player and XBox are wired into the the network.
Easy to plug in, sounds great! Sticker problem solved.

Summary: I bought the BA TVee 25 because my wife, who is 61, has a hard time hearing our TV set. We watch a lot of British stuff, and the accents really muddy the waters, but we love the way they do movies and TV. So, if we have subtitles, OK. If not, she has a hard time.
Summary: Purchased in May 2012, no labels on the front of the speaker so they must have made a change. I had previously purchased a Samsung sound bar 280 watts with wireless subwoofer, but it blew a tweeter less than a month after I bought it.
