Sound is great but for family safety it can be a potential fire hazard

Summary: The sound bar was excellent for the size of my room and wireless subwoofer was a great addition to the package. The wireless subwoofer gives me a lot flexibility on sound placement. Programming the unit with my Sony remote was very easy.
Summary: -I'm a network engineer by trade. I have been battling intermittent wifi issues for roughly the past 6 months (since I got this unit, I just didn't put two and two together) The subwoofer / Soundbar operates @ 2.4 ghz, causing SEVERE interference.
Summary: Bought this for my new home. Did a ton of research and was hoping I would somehow avoid the problems which plagued many reviewers. Awful instructions but got it set up w/ online help. Sound was not great to poor. Barely better than the tv sound alone.
Summary: Having the same problem as many others. Wireless subwoofer doesn't work. After having only a couple of months it simply hums loudly when turned on - will not connect to the bar. I thought Boston Acoutistic was a quality product - apparently not as subwoofer problem is a common one.
Summary: I bought this based on the Boston Acoustics name. The original unit that I had purchased ran hot on the back of the subwoofer unit. After using for extended periods of time, the sub would randomly shut off. After doing a power cycle nad letting the sub stay off for awhile, it would work again.
Summary: Well I hate to give bad reviews- I bought this and had it professionally installed- the subwoofer was making horrible sounds during shows, when it went to commercial, came back from commercial, during all DVR functions. It also hummed loudly and got very hot when the TV was off.

Summary: Worked great for 1 month - then the subwolfer began to cut out. After a few false starts with BA customer service sent the unit back to them for repair. When I got it back it did the same thing. I just gave up and ordered a Sony HT-CT660 (love it!).
Summary: I purchased this unit from Best Buy in August 2012 because it was the best sounding system in my price range. When turned up fairly loud, it's not too bad, but at an average listening volume, it lacks clarity and is pretty mid-rangy.
