Finally gave up
6 April 2014
Summary: I give up on this bar-I'm just going to give it away. The sound level frequently does not respond to the volume control-I can increase it to 100 and nothing happens, and I'll have to get up and change the volume manually. Then for a while it will work fine, then it won't decrease in volume even when volume control goes to Minimum Not the remote-reprogrammed it a couple times and it works fine. The sound bar does not seem to be paired up with control.
Summary: Sound is good, not great. Frankly I don't have a reference point for sound bars. It's a vast improvement over the TV speakers but the midrange sounds muddy to my ears. Set up is super simple and it's great that it integrates with my TV remote for volume up/down. Very handy. My biggest gripe is the amount of hiss this thing puts out. I try to turn down the volume on the speaker and turn up the gain and that reduces the hiss but it always reverts back... a bit aggravating.
good starting system, descent price, sound is better than stock tv
4 March 2012
Summary: descent sound but not your high end speaker system. good for my sons xbox and 32 inch tv. descent value/price. would not recommend for larger entertainment systems/. excellent for gaming.Definitely an upgrade rom stock tv speakers though. i would recommend spend ing the extra money and purchase the Boston acoustics tv model 25. Much better sound if you can afford it. Overall good speakers for the price.
Summary: Junk! I bought this thing thinking I was getting a nice surround sound for my bedroom. It came with no power cords at all! So I had to buy more at radio shack because the manufacture price were almost $100. This things bass module turns on and off all the time. I can't find a good way to wall mount it. Wow I have never wasted money like this!
Summary: The sound of this speaker system is great for the price. Had a little difficulty at the beginning with the remote operating the system correctly; but figured out that you have to hold the volume button down constantly instead of clicking it. Great system for the price!
