Summary: I give up on this bar-I'm just going to give it away. The sound level frequently does not respond to the volume control-I can increase it to 100 and nothing happens, and I'll have to get up and change the volume manually.
Summary: Sound is good, not great. Frankly I don't have a reference point for sound bars. It's a vast improvement over the TV speakers but the midrange sounds muddy to my ears. Set up is super simple and it's great that it integrates with my TV remote for volume up/down. Very handy.
Summary: Junk! I bought this thing thinking I was getting a nice surround sound for my bedroom. It came with no power cords at all! So I had to buy more at radio shack because the manufacture price were almost $100. This things bass module turns on and off all the time.
Summary: The sound of this speaker system is great for the price. Had a little difficulty at the beginning with the remote operating the system correctly; but figured out that you have to hold the volume button down constantly instead of clicking it. Great system for the price!
Great Sound, But Problem with Learning Remote Instructions
4 December 2011
Summary: Boston makes great speakers. I have some great sounding and beautiful voice matched Boston speakers in my living room for watching TV, movies, and listening to music with surround sound. So when I bought a new LED TV and AV amp for that room, I retired my old plasma to the bedroom.
Summary: Really surprised by the sound quality this pair provided. Your tv will need to have the cabability for a regular red and white audio hookup as it does not have an optical hookup. The sound is a huge improvment from the speakers on my flatscreen. Very satisfied with shipping time, and price.
Summary: I ordered the TVee Model 20 based on the reputation of Boston Acoustics and the price was right. It arrived in a timely fashion and was in fine shape. When I got home to test it out I found that the subwoofer that came with it was dead. It would not power on no matter what I plugged it in to.
