Boston acoustics soundbar

Summary: I am very happy with my soundbar. Though I can't use it through the cable box (volume control issue) I still enjoy the soundbar through my remote by using it as a headset. The wireless wolfer isn't being used in the bedroom, but it's nice to have for another application someday.
Summary: This product has good sound quality, and is easy for those that don't want to run wires everywhere. The only small issue we have is we have to lean toward the Soundbar to get our remote to work with it.
Summary: This Boston Acoustics TVEE2 is a quality sound system for the price. It is very simple to set up. One draw back is that the audio out plug is RCA and some of today's TVs have no RCA plug (such as my LG) This requires a (90.00) adapter. Other than this, excellent product.
Summary: As other reviewers have noted, the set-up (and remote learning function) is quirky and potentially frustrating. But once you've got this system set up, you should notice a VAST improvement over the sound from the TV speakers alone. I decided to set it up (with my Samsung HDTV and DirecTV) so that the TV speakers were still on at a modest level of volume -- and after tweaking the trim level (3 settings on rear panel of the soundbar) and output volume from the BA soundbar,...
Summary: I mounted the BA TVee on an AV cart that holds my projector ( plus a Wii, a PC & DVD player.) The BA TVee replaces a $50 2.1 speaker system, so anything was an upgrade. I wanted a soundbar to mount because the AV cart can be rolled out of the basement "ruckus" room & out of harms way. I test drove several soundbars; Vizio, Sony, Yamaha, etc. The BA TVee was in the $200-$300 sweet spot of my budget.
Summary: I have a 5.1 system that we used wih our old analog TV. We seldom used it however since turning it all onwas much ore complex than my wife could master. I was not satisfied with the sound onmy 52" HDTV. This has been the perfect solution. Simple to setup. Simple to use. I'm sure there are better audio solutions, however, this is more than adaquet for my needs.
Summary: Primary reasons for selecting this BA soundbar: 1. Good experience with other BA products 2. Ability to use one remote 3. Mostly positive reviews from others. Now I am struggling with reason #2 -- at initial installation, I wasn't able to program remote successfully (volume up = mute; channel up/down = input select) -- it was all very wacky despite repeated attempts.
Summary: This system works and sounds great....for the pricepoint. A lot of sound from a small source. The greatest features are the learning remote....easy to learn, and worked great with my comcast cable remote, and the wireless sub-woofer sounds great. An ideal system for a smaller room, especially without the hastle of wires! Highly recommend.
Summary: I was very frustrated that the remote on the Boston Acoustics TVee Model Two would only work up to about 8' away. I found a fix from a forum that suggested removing the IR sensor cover on the soundbar. I removed the fabric cover/housing, took a tiny flat head screwdriver and popped the sensor cover off. There is some glue around the perimeter, but some light pressure and it popped off. This sounds damaging, but it wasn't.
