Summary: Bought This item four years ago. The first year the the volume up button stopped working the next year the volume down button also broke. I didnt really see it as a problem because it was stil working from my remote but then, the remote function stopped working turning the sound bar into a Giant...
Summary: The sound quality is really good - not what I'd expect for $350 bucks but far better than the alternatives at Best Buy. If only I could have listened to a JBL soundbar because I LOVE THE SOUND on my four year old JBL Radial IPOD player.
Summary: I am very happy with my soundbar. Though I can't use it through the cable box (volume control issue) I still enjoy the soundbar through my remote by using it as a headset. The wireless wolfer isn't being used in the bedroom, but it's nice to have for another application someday.
Summary: Is an adequate speaker system, but far from a home theater sound system. The sound bar is perfect size for sitting below a 46" flat screen TV. There are better sound bars, at a better price out there, but are much wider and would not work in the my current space restrictions.
Summary: After owning and enjoying this item for 3 years, it started making static noise. Next thing, smoke and electric fire smell. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with Boston Acoustics. I've been a proud owner of their speakers for a long time.
Summary: This product has good sound quality, and is easy for those that don't want to run wires everywhere. The only small issue we have is we have to lean toward the Soundbar to get our remote to work with it.
Summary: This Boston Acoustics TVEE2 is a quality sound system for the price. It is very simple to set up. One draw back is that the audio out plug is RCA and some of today's TVs have no RCA plug (such as my LG) This requires a (90.00) adapter. Other than this, excellent product.
Summary: I bought refurbished product. I like the ease of setting up. 5 Stars It does not have Digital audio input. But I do not know if it would matter with these 2.1 sound systems. So 4 stars Sound out of soundbar is very good (clear and crisp). The main disappointment is with Sub woofer.
Summary: As other reviewers have noted, the set-up (and remote learning function) is quirky and potentially frustrating. But once you've got this system set up, you should notice a VAST improvement over the sound from the TV speakers alone.
