Summary: This speaker unit is as I expected. Being a Bose product it is state of the art technology. Although it doesn't quite give the effect of surround sound it is a remarkable improvement over the internal speakers of my television.
Summary: The improvement of the sound through the TV is just as GREAT as the picture now. More bass comes through with the sound system. Before it tended to sound almost tinny. Nothing has come up that gets any negative comment.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Low Power Consumption, Quality Construction
Excerpt: To pay for my college days I was a Rock Jock on the radio, when monaural A.M. radio was how you heard your tunes and a 1st class Engineers license was necessary from the F.C.C. to be a D.J. of any kind on a set pattern A.M. station. The price I paid was my hearing (especially thehigh sound range).
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls, Placement Under Tv
Summary: Just got my Bose Solo today and in a word, it's "awesome". The sound is crystal clear with no distortion that fills my small living room area. Initially, I had ordered a ZVOX 220 as it was cheaper than the Bose Solo and customer reviews here on Amazon had it rated slightly better than the Bose. I returned the ZVOX 220 after two weeks due to muddled sound and distortion on the high end.(I have a Samsung 39" LED TV connected to an on-air antenna, no cable box).
Excerpt: This is one of the pricier sound bars but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't come with a sub or an equalizer option but Bose did the leg work and this is hands down the best "plug and play" option out there, not to mention the best looking.
