Summary: My SL2 failed after 8 years. Called Bose for replacement. Bose doesn't sell this product any longer but recommended the $75 Rocketfish (Best Buy in house brand) saying they had tested it and it was a perfect replacement.
Summary: This product was shipped quickly, and delivered as advertised. However, after 3 months I developed an issue with one speaker not functioning. It may have been in warranty, and I did not address it. That is my experience. Others may not have any issue whatsoever. This was ordered for a Bose V20 surround sound unit. Hope this review is helpful.
Solved a huge problem...didn't have to hard-wire the rear speakers

Summary: I was trying to reconnect the rear speakers to my Bose Lifestyle Accoustimass 10 (circa. 2001) without having to run speaker wires to the rear of my family room. This transmitter/receiver combination did the trick. You connect the transmitter to the subwoofer and then connect your rear speakers to the receiver. Plug each device into the wall for power and your good to go. Definitely a good alternative to running a fully wired system.
Summary: I had just recently sold my custom built home as to where all my speaker cables was ran inside my walls upon building my house. Our new home we did not build so there was no wires in place to hook up our rear speakers to our Bose Lifestyle 35 System and in order to get the rear speakers hooked up it was going to require going over 3 doors and a fireplace with speaker wire.
Summary: The Bose wireless rear speakers are exactly what I needed. We moved into a rental house not pre-wired for surround, and this saved me from trying to fish wires through walls and into the attic. The bonus is they perform flawlessly and I can't notice any difference between when I used wires or this system. They were easy to install right out of the box. The only downside is the price- but at least they are a Bose quality product.
Summary: Another quality Bose product. The assembly was a breeze. I love the fact you can hide the transmitter and receiver out of sight and they still work. I live in an apartment and it is perfect for that. I didn't have to run speaker cables across my living room floor.
