Summary: First off, if you've ever called Technical Support, they work off a script. Their job is as follows: Greet you Repeat the issue that you're calling about Pretend to be sorry about the issue Pretend that they'll help you Take your personal information and verify it, to be sure that it can be used for marketing purposes, and then lie to you if you ask if it is. Here's where it gets good: Their goal is not really to help you out. That takes too much time. Time is money.
Summary: BUY AT YOUR OWN PERIL. THE BOSE LIFESTYLE SYSTEM SUCKs BIG TIME. IT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! What it sounds in the store is completely different to what is sounds in your home. This is simply because their demo room is acoustically engineered to bring the best out of their systems. Lets face it real homes are not made that way . Anyway , i was impressed enough in the show room and got "suckered" into buying their very expensive Lifestyle 38.
Summary: (bowers and wilkens for the same price) I have to say as an installer, home theater user and professionally trained audio engineer. stay far far away.. most who are big into theater systems and are experienced will tell you this. the bose systems are run of the mill quality if they were in the $300 price range.
Sound quality matter, shop around and don't be fooled by Bose advertising

Summary: Yes like Bose claims the lifestyle v25 and v35 systems are easy to set up, easy to use, but they lack sound quality compared to similar systems at a similar price. Now before I go into this you should ask yourself would use an antenna instead getting cable box or satellite which require slight more work to set up?
Summary: Jesus christ what a joke, We bought one for the Frat house here at Nottingham and I was very dissapointed. It is built like a friggin toy, It has no progressive scan and its spec's even for three grand remian a mystery to the world, God, What are they hiding??? The freq range might be something we never get to see on paper, The machine looks nice but not three grand nice, How can Bose have the nerve to charge the consumer three grand for a toy?
Summary: My review applies to the Lifestyle 35, which I recently tried out at one of Bose's factory stores. (Truly a tale from the dark side!) I cannot believe that anyone at Bose can look at themselves in the morning knowing what kind of a fraud they have uncorked on the public while they charge nearly $3k for the privilege of getting butt reamed! This piece is a joke.
Summary: I was at Elgiganten and had the opportunity to listen to the Bose Lifestyle V35 which is the current top model in Bose?s Lifestyle V-class Home Entertainment Systems. Wow, fancy product name! Anyhow? Usually I am just interested in testing audio systems with music CD?s but since this system is an upscale home cinema system I asked for a Blu-Ray movie demo. Hooked up to the Bose system was a Samsung Blu-Ray player and I asked why?
