If you have a small room, I get it. If you have room for a "real" sound system, look elsewhere

Summary: I understand how people might buy this system only have a certain small amount of real estate available. I also understand that, on their own, they might sound "excellent" to people. The truth is that for $3K, you could easily purchase a very descent 7.2 surround sound receiver, as well as an excellent set of 7/8 (depending on whether you went with 1 sub, or 2) for that money. I was in an audio store that sold the Bose system here, and it sounded "fine".
Amazing Product with Outstanding sound and Quality but Pricey
13 December 2011
Summary: This product immerse you in surround sound of your favorite music and movies. I agree this is pricey product but worth the price. May be you will get same or more quality sound from other brands but you need to know the details of each component and assemble as a single system. This is pre-built package of all the best products that you want for premium sound.
Summary: I bought Bose V30B Home Theater System which is used one in excellent conditon from ebay a month ago. This is it. I have had Bose Lifestyle 12 Home Theater System since 1996 and it was time to move on to new technology. Definetely I love this Lifestyle V30 System. It is very easy to hook up and setup by myself alone. There are a lot of open connection for more source to connect. This makes very very nice to make my own style Audio an Video system at home.
Summary: I can't praise this pdt enough, it is a great product. The little speakers around your living room produce such unbelievable filtered sound, you have to understand why people spend the $s on Bose, the posing factor aside. I must point out the issues I have had with PCM 2.0 vis a viz 5.1 surround sound and instructions are not clear enough in my view to help sort this issue out. All in all, a 5 star pdt any day.
Summary: I bought the Bose Lifestyle V30 Home Theater System for $1999 and that includes shipping, if you own a Blu-Ray player or DVD player, then this is the one you want. No reason to pay an extra $1500 for the V35 version, that includes the little extras. The sound quality is awesome and the remote is solid, my only real problem is the lack of customing the highs-mids-lows.
Summary: Easy setup. The remote controls my motorola DVR and also my philips TV I switched from a full Harman and Infinity speakers to this system. The sound is pretty good for a small system. Movies sound clear. I feel a bit too much sound is coming from the center channel. The bass is perfect. It works for a small place. Setup: Bose V30 Philips LCD TV PS3 Slimdevices player Motorola DVR + cable card Cons: Bit pricy.
