Very good system, great sound, anyone can set it up. I love BOSE.

Summary: A really great system and setup was very easy although it did take a couple of hours. Bose has always had a good reputation and my house was prewired (ceiling) for a surround sound system and so, this was it. I am told there are other sound systems that perform better - larger speakers, better sound, eetc but if you need small speakers this is the way to go. the only issue I have is that it limits you to 3 HDMI inputs in the back.
Summary: I am not a Bose fanboy. I personally own a surround sound that I pieced each part separately. My speakers are big, bulky and for the same price my system is better then this Bose. But thats not the point of BOSE. I bought this for my dad. Not a tech savy guy AT ALL! but he gets it. It's easy to understand, and I really feel the best "Boxed" surround sound. Loses 1 start because the price.... c'mon Bose, this ain't the 90s anymore, technology isn't as expensive.

Summary: Sound is fabulous. This unit replaced a 10 speaker highly expensive system and sounds much better. Have listened to system in stores many times over the last few years. Figured the store setups optimized the sound and it would never work in real life. Boy was I wrong. Can't say enough about the sound, ease of use and overall value. Setup was so simple. On screen step by step instructions for every device I added.
Summary: This system has great sound and the remote is really nice. I wish it was offered in white (black is the only option). It is expensive when compared to other systems, but we have always had good luck with Bose products. I wish that the remote worked better with the Apple TV. I still have to use the Apple remote to turn on the Apple TV...the Bose remote won't turn it on. The Bose remote does turn on all of my other components.
Summary: I bought this item because I had seen it demonstrated last summer in a Bose store. I went through the complete installaton and found that the system wouldn't work. I contacted a Bose store to see if they had any insight on the problem and they gave me some ideas of what to try, but that didn't resolve the problem. They also referred me to Bose Tech support. When I called them they tried to fix the problem, but were unsuccessful.
