Summary: As with all things, there is always the "Best". In home theater it has always been Bose Lifestyle. The 38 series III is rated one of the top of this group. I could never afford a new one, but now I have it and I am even more impressed then before.
Summary: I decided to try this lifestyle 38 instead of the 3-2-1. I love the fact you can load 300 + hrs of music onto the media center. Its sound is just as if you were in a theater! Im so glad we spent the little extra to get the Lifestyle series.

Summary: The Bose Lifestyle system has amazing sound quality. The tine speakers that come along with this producing amazing sound. The surrond on this is excellent as well. Though a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Summary: This review is actually for the Series I Lifestyle 38. All I have to say is that Bose has very good customer service. My unit is over 6-years old and the hard drive broke. I called up customer service, and they are refurbishing the whole unit and giving me a 1 year warranty for $200.
Summary: The company was okay to deal with, the product arrived in a timely manner. The sound system has been a bit complicated to set up and deal with, but it may be us as since we purchased a new TV at the same time and have to get both of them programmed
Summary: This was the worst on line buying experience I could have ever imagined. I ordered a Bose Surround Sound system from Amazon/Electronic Expo and the delivery date that UPS would deliver it was April 4.
Summary: this is the most amazing system you could ever buy, even though it is priced quite high, if you have the money, go for it... if not, find something lesser. The only downside is the fact that the dvd player is not progressive scan, and it doesnt have all the sound option like pro-logic..
Summary: I have owned Bose electronics and have always been very satisfied. What I did not realize when I purchased this system was the difficulty in integrating it with additional elements throughout the rest of my house. Yes, it could be done, but at a very HIGH price.
