Summary: If you serious about the sound quality and don't want to compromise with the newer designed one piece soundbar to limit the stereo effect, the GS II is the gear you want. Pros: Bass, deep, rich and clean. Excellent dynamic range. Good sound stage. Easy set up.
Summary: I have owned this for one week. I bought it when it was priced at $359. At this price, I think this is the best Cinema 2.1 system for such a small foot print. Bose is very good that making small speakers sound big. And in this case, they do not disappoint me.

Summary: I had a soundbar on my 65" TV before I bought this system and was very disappointed with it. I cannot believe the difference in sound there was when I hooked this up. Extremely easy and quick to connect and the sound is fabulous!
Summary: I wouldn't go so far as to call myself an audiophile and I don't know many technical audio terms, however I do find that I am not so easily satisfied or fooled by mediocre sound quality as much as most people (I can't stand to listen to any Beats by Dre products).
Summary: Bose CineMate GS Series II. I've owned this 2.1 system for about 5 months now. My wife and I are loving this home theater sound system. We bought this to replace a 3 year old Samsung sound bar. We live in a 1000 sq ft apartment unit. This sound system is great for a small living room space.
Summary: The sound quality is amazing. They are loud and clear. The bass can be controlled by a dial on the back of the woofer, so you can boom like a thug in a lowrider, or you can keep it in the mid-range as intended (in movies). Installation is a piece of cake and takes five minutes.
Summary: I purchased this to highlight my Sharp Aquos 3D t.v. due to the tinny (not tiny) hollow sound. The Bose Cinemate II produce a rich quality base with mids and highs. Everything is perfectly tuned so that you do not get too much base but still enough to rumble the house if your watching a war movie.
Summary: I just love my Bose home theatre system. No, I never owned Bose gefore. Yes, I read the reviews and was mixed in the beginning. I had a Visio 5.1 sound bar system with sub woofer and 2 rear speakers. I loved that system very much; or at least I thought I did.
If you have the $$, sound for size the Bose CineMate GS delivers

Summary: The Bose CineMate GS Series II delivers great sound in a very small package. It brings those movies at home to life. I went through 2 HDMI switching receivers and tried several solutions for wireless rear speakers.
