Summary: Using them in my video production studio to show clients the progress of their productions. I like the 3's as they are out of the way. more accurate for reproduction, and can handle just about anything you can throw at them.
Summary: So I must tell you I was skeptical at first because of some do the reviews, but I hope this helps someone on the "fence" of decision on whether or not to purchase these. First, I must say these were originally purchased (and sought out) for their very small and discreet size. I received the package and hooked them up the same day out of sheer curiosity.
i love it and for what i paid (not a lot) its an awesome sub

Summary: for the price i paid it is a nice little sub. does it compare with the bigger subwoofers for cars? no but for a budget and for a decent sound i highly recommend this. it adds a whole new realm and a whole new sound field which is extremely nice. if you want a little kick in your system, its easy set up and a decent bang for your buck.
Summary: This may not be a popular review, but my wife and I were sorely disappointed. They sound like a cheap boombox. We are very happy with Bose computer speakers and we decided to get Acoustimass speakers to replace our home theater. We returned it the same day we got them. The wiring is very simple, I will give you that. The sub woofer barely does anything, even when playing The Chemical Brothers!
Summary: I hooked it up to a Sharper Image mini system - I didn't realize that the bass cabinet wasn't self powered so I bought a Lepai power amp for about $25. With that the whole system sounds really good and I'm overall very happy with the sound based on what I've spent.
