Summary: overall a product is good sound quality is good the DVD player and CD player work well very good option for small rooms I like the little jewel cube speakers and the Bose speaker stands ok up to them.
Summary: I really like the simplicity of the 321 the DVD door is a little suspect (it won't open), since it is not Blu Ray you can use another Blu Ray player instead. This is a very easy system to get up and running. The sound is very good, but it is not Surround sound like. Bose has done a nice job with this unit, but it may not be worth the price Bose wanted when new. It is a quality sound system and the radio works very well with the antenna's provided.
Summary: Great unit. Although it doesn't have the Blue Ray or HDMI capability which would make this an outstanding unit, it still has awesome sound quality. I am sure that the new models from BOSE address this.
Summary: For those who expect true 5.1 Dolby Surround out of the Bose 3-2-1 system, please look elsewhere. This unit does well in projecting sound when you have the speakers at a good ear level height for your sitting area. You need to get the setting just right for it to work anywhere close to as advertised. I bought this system probably a month or two after it came out, maybe 4 or 5 years ago and it's still going strong.
Summary: Having owned this system now for a couple of years I have had my ups and downs but overall I am pretty happy with it. For the price you are getting a system that produces excellent clarity of sound with very small speakers. Yeah! On the negative, I don't really understand why they skimp out on the DVD side of things- I mean my $200 pioneer handles the range of DVD's much better. Of greatest concern for me though has been voice re-production.
Summary: I live in a small home and a large 5 speaker system with sub-woofer,plus reciever and dvd/cd player was just too much. True, the 3-2-1 doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistels of a lot a less expensive systems, but the size, ease of assembly and most of all the sound was worth the initial sticker shock.
