Summary: Its ok. I sound popping, lagged sound where i have to turn it off and back on, maybe twice a month. When it works it sounds good. Im not sure about the price though. You can get much more for less.
Summary: I installed this in 2008 in an acoustically live, architecturally sophisticated "great room" that has a lot going on including cooking and I wanted the sound system to be a quiet visual note - consequently I've enclosed it with all other system elements on slide-out shelves behind spaced stiles of a drop down door that opens a bay in the side of the bar.
Not the quality I expected, cheaper speakers worked much better

Summary: I have had this system for several years. I fell for the marketing hype about the great Bose sound. Hooking it up was not too bad. If you want the radio to work, you have to run this ugly white antenna somewhere. It is rather large so I had to tape it to the back of the TV so no one could see it. TV/Movie sounds. It sounded better than the speakers on my big LG TV. Much better.
Summary: I'm always impressed with Bose quality and this one is no different, It throws sound around the room and impresses me on a daily basis. Only downside of this product is the lack of HDMI connections-If i was buying a new stereo i would look for one with HDMI; however if that doesn't matter to you this is an awesome find and worth the $ everyday.
Summary: Stay away from Bose audio visual products. I purchased this some time back and have had nothing but problems with it. The remote only work if you are practically in line with its IR received, be slightly offset and you may as well walk across the room ad push the buttons on the received. I finally got tired of this and disconnected the system in the living room and replaced with a Sony system. I now have the 3 2 1 set up in basement for my son.
