Summary: Highly recommend not purchasing this, and finding a different sound bar. The good: the sound quality is excellent, no qualms with the sound at all. I would imagine it can hold its own against most sound bars. The bad: Out of the box, if you want to use this to switch multiple devices via HDMI (like a DirecTV box, Apple TV and BluRay), you need to know that you can't use a universal remote to select the proper HDMI inputs.
Summary: I purchased this at best buy in September 2013. My audio would cut in and out and the volume was minimal. I thought other components were the problem until the video started doing the same. I disconnected all components and reconnected all directly to the TV instead of the unit, presto, video and audio worked fine. I had the Geek Squad at BBuy look at it, bad I/O board. They're replacing the board...not the unit....frustrating.
Summary: Great quality and finish with a much needed improvement over the past model. A bit of a lag between the synced voices and actors lips when passed through the sound bar via HDMI, not sure if it was my setup issue or the lag though. Sound is okay for what it is and the price point that it's selling for. Buy this if you want minimalist style and maximum sound and or have limited space within an Apartment or condo.
Summary: We have been very happy with our B&W Panorama 2 which we've had for several months now. It set up and ran perfectly out of the box and though I find the remote a little fiddly, but have gotten used to it. For me, with senior citizen eyesight, I can't tell which end is the front or back on the egg-shaped remote which is important as I keep hitting the wrong buttons when the movie's on and it's dark. I've adapted and no more errors lately.
Summary: The Good ! B & W sound quality is evident. Forget the price buy it for the sound, it is very clean at low and high volumes and sounds better than most other products on the market. The Panorama 2 is an attractive addition to the entertainment center. It also comes with three hdmi inputs and one output which makes it a very functional piece. Why not 5 stars HDMI switching is a little slow although works well once I wired the system correctly.
Summary: My husband purchased this sound bar for our new media room. Although beautiful, it never worked. The sound kept cutting out and we would have to start the entire system over again only to have the sound cut out again. We returned it and the second started doing the same thing after just 5 weeks.
Summary: I purchased this sound bar in December. Sound was decent, required constant tuning. One month later sound board required replacing. Just had it re-installed and 48 hours later it isn't getting sound from the middle channel. This is an otherwise terrific company but this is purchase has been nothing but trouble.
Summary: It is not only about soon or aspect, both truly impressive. Unfortunately it fell down from a 4' high shelve while I was tweaking around with cables. apart from a few scratches, incredibly it continued working as if nothing has happened. No need to say that the hit harmed me more than the sound bar but...
Summary: For a soundbar, the sound is sweet, I thought it is equivalent to the MartinLogan Vision and better than the Bose Cinemates. Considering there is not a separate subwoofer, I was very pleased with the bass. It is not surround, but I don't think any soundbar really is. It seems like a 3:1 effect. I ended up returning it after 2 weeks. I had found enough issues in such a short time that I became concerned, especially for a unit at this price point.
