Summary: Impressive sub. Super warranty, way to back up a product!!! Sounds great thru the range. Not a pa sub but close. The next step up from the PL-200 would need to be Pro PA equipment. They did a great job on this one. Acoustech should be proud.
Summary: Amazing what a quality subwoofer can do to enhance your music and home theater experience. Not an audiophile but my ears tell me all I need to know. There is no comparison to what I had previously (a Polk Audio 8" HTIB sub) and this BIC PL-200. But done my research, and I do not believe there is a better one out there for the price.
Summary: Not really for music however for movies freaking awesome.I have one and just bought a second one. I had to turn it down because it was shaking pictures and nick nacks around the living room. movies it sound best was the two newest die hard's, war of worlds. The say cloverfield sounds good but i was disappointed.
Summary: Let me start by saying that I don't think you're going to find more performance from a $300 sub than this unit. I replaced a M&K V75 MKII with this unit, and while the BIC falls short of the M&K (as I would expect), it still performed very very well. I'm repairing the M&K and I'm going to go with dual subs if it'll work. But let me get back to the BIC. I never heard of this company prior to when my internet search for a new sub began in January of 2013.
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance right off the bat! I use this in a 23'x23' room. I know I am pushing the room size for this size sub, but I am happy with the sound I get with this speaker. I am also using 3 way floor speakers with 12" woofers for front channel and 3 ways with 10" woofers for the rear. This set up fills the room with great sound for gaming on a 120" screen! Gunfire is not "tinny" sounding and explosions rock the building with deep bass!
